Someone says he fights for "quota system" bla bla bla... Lolll... I wonder when national team football became a thing of quota now rather than "picking the very best" irrespective of location. If all the best are from the north... Then so be it! (Amuneke's 2015 U-17 team comes to mind).

John Fashanu rates Theophilus Awua as probably the best teen midfielder he's seen live..... smiley

Well, that's Fashanu but not something to ignore.

The young lad has been getting rave reviews in Italy for Inter Milan's primavera team... smiley

He's a very very fine prospect in the DMF/CMF role and he's very combative and lively. Can't wait to see him mature and explode into the beast I know lies in him.

But I still miss Akinjide Idowu.... sad

I am very disappointed in some Monikers for taking side in the Argument between Supernerd and Forgiveness!

The Veterans ain't taking sides, and I think the Kiddos should have learned from their maturity.

Forgiveness is mistaking as a Bigot by Supernerd. It's obvious Forgiveness does mention Names related to Yoruba, but that ain't making him a Bigot.

The Names he has mentioned are Nigerians born outside the Continent. Forgiveness is simply a big Fan of foreign Born Players.

The other thing I noticed about him is; he's advocating for a national Team that respects Quota System. And he believes..... with the foreign-born Players, talented Players from other Tribes won't be an issue!

I hope Supernerd can retract the negative things he has posted to degrade the personality of Forgiveness, also I hope Forgiveness will seek for forgiveness from the Monikers he has offended. LOL!

grin hmm! I don't know where to start from but let first of all say thank you.

But I want to correct some things.

@ bolded (first one) I can say you are right on point.

Infact, that was what brought heated arguments in the Olympics thread btw me and many monikers here who are now enjoying the benefits of foreign player whom dey rejected at first.

I have been vindicated. grin Afterall, Iwobi na foreign breed. grin and he seems to be better than Iheanacho for now. grin

Please, take note that the list below was the first I posted before those heated arguments. Please, take note that the names cut acrosses all nations(tribes) and regions in Nigeria. Yoruba was not only the names there.
Iwobi even dey dere. grin when he was nobody but nobody took him seriously here because they can't see the future. grin The same are now bragging Iwobi and dancing shoki untop. grin What a wonderful world. grin

forgiveness:

@bolded 2, I don't believe in Quota system but I believe that double standard should not be used to invite players to be national team. grin

My only sin is pointing out the facts that has been hidden for so long. Unfortunately, it doesn't favour somebody. grin

Though most often than not his claims make him look parochial and myopic with his sense of reasoning, but that assertion that he is bigoted or maybe fights for a quota system is a low... Last time I checked, his favourite right back (Tyronne) ain't yoruba. The guy is just too obsessed with anything foreign and he is never satisfied, hence, he wants new players invited in every game forgetting that it doesn't work that way. He clamored for Hybe and Iwobi too. His claims can be baffling some times that he ends up ridiculing himself but I don't think he is bigoted. PEACE

What of Iwobi, a toddler to Solanke? That is beyond logical. I wonder who will take side with that.

#AnalyseWithConscience

When I said Iwobi is a Toddler to Solanke, I didn't blink an eye.

Logical it is very correct based on some statistics.

Iwobi was nobody in the English under age set up when Dominic Solanke was pulling the string.

Iwobi was dusted again by Dominic Solanke in club youth setup.

In all the youth competitions they both participated Dominic Solanke was better than Iwobi.

He was voted England Youth player of the year ahead of Iwobi who was never nominated eventhough he was an English youth player as at then.

He was chosen to play with the 3 Lions.

He has gone to play in Champions League ahead him.

Currently, he is a third striker in the fourth best club in the world.

Do you think he bribed his way through like dey do here? grin

Kelechi Nwakali has played 4 games now for his club MVV maastritch. No assist, no goal nothing.

I know it may be too early to complain but I remember Iheanacho scoring goals and impressing during the few early games he got with mancity youth teams.

I hope not but we may have over hyped this boy beyond his abilities.

That Emmanuel Amunike's team is full of overrated players.

I will only single out 1 player(although I like Michael) from that set. The rest na poho.

How dey won the U17 competition is simply based on tik tak football.

No one is against calling or Inviting Solanke. I am into increasing our pool of players. I feel it makes us stronger. I believe the competition is high in our attack. I feel Solanke will finding it difficult securing a place. We have not given players like Adi and Eleke chances.

That does not mean I am against a call-up of Solanke in the near future. We should keep pushing our players to improve. Let us not make it look as if as a third Striker at Chelsea is an achievement. He needs to keep pushing and believing he can outperform Costa.

In the last match, when Costa insulted Conte and signalled the coach to remove him. I fumed. I (very funny) called Conte a p**sy for not subbing Costa immediately for Solanke. I believe the young man can do it big. But, (in the words of Icon4s) he is not there yet.

Competition is good. Enyeama around will make Ikeme improve. If Enyeama in the post will make us stronger, then we are doing ourselves a disservice rejecting Rohr's proposal. Rohr is the man running the team. If he wants Enyeama and feels he can bring him back, we respect it.

People always tell us how workaholic he is, but my question is the use of him winning possession and lose it immediately due his inability to give a simple pass? Worst of all he ain't disciplined and he fails to understand his role too. I rate Azubuike okechukwu even higher...

U saw younger Ndidi doing his job as though he was a veteran today right? That's what he does week in week out, if u had been following the Belgian league. That's typical of a good DMF

Commot Mikel, commot Onazi, Nigeria's midfield will fall yakata.

Forgiveness has made it clear, he's not a Bigot as someone is alleging him , neither is he advocating for Quota System (my mistake)! grin

Rohr will make a costly mistake if he re-invites Enyeama to the Super Eagles Camp after booking the Russia 2018 World Cup Ticket with the services of Ikeme between the Poles!

Enyeama's time is over, we should move away from him and focus on developing a new Goalkeeper for the future - Alampasu comes to my mind.

Wif deserves to be in the Lineup ahead of Onazi against the Algerians. He has already proven himself this Month.

I would have asked for Onazi and Wif to be partnered in the midfield, but Mikel Fans would be offended! grin

All in all..... Algeria will fall in Awka by God's willing!

If Iwobi had remained loyal to England, he would be starting alongside Dele Alli for the 3lions while ur Solanke still vying for shirt with Tammy and Hybe at the youth level (u19).Talk of people not living up to their potential... Mind you ur Solanke is threading this path. He is gradually doing a Morrison. Chelsea is trynna cut short Tammy's loan deal to bring him back, that tells u how bad ur solanke's stock has fallen even within the ranks of his club. When last did England send him a call up letter??

Ur claims sometimes are pathetic and reek of hate and desperation. U have to reexamine ur conscience and sense of reasoning. Stop being parochial.

I love ur resilience and the fact that u always remained grounded even when jibes are thrown at u but sir I must tell u, u sound like a troll most times and it riles people up. U seem to like it and u are enthusiastic of it. Continu

I only saw him once and the impression I got wasn't bad.

He can play on both back wings and he seems to love overlapping.

His records show he can also score.

But he needs to build his physical shape if he wants to play well against a physical attacker.

Anyway, I just want us to cap before he becomes another Dele and Alaba. Who knows?
really pain mr we lost dele d guy is really good

Thank u my guy,d Ndidi i saw against Zambia cannot bench Onazi though he played at RB against Zambia. No matter d position u played there is a basic thing about footballer which is composure on d ball, this guy lack it.Mikel obi played as DM,CB for chelsea and in national team CM,he never found wanting but Ndidi against Zambia,oh my God was a thrash as a professional player, pls go and re watch d match again, such player lack d class to bench Onazi.

It is not fair judging him when he was played out of position. He plays better centrally where he has to do less chasing. He dominated a strong midfield yesterday. He is a class act just not as RB.

Commot Mikel, commot Onazi, Nigeria's midfield will fall yakata.

I said Onazi not Mikel. Mikel seems indispensable now, but same can't be said of Onazi.
