The person who got Lucille was shown in a POV version and no strands of hair were shown in his field of vision.

Watch that scene where he randomly selects again. Only 3 peeps had no hair running down thier face. Listed above.

In case you’ve forgotten who’s alive and who’s a zombie, here are the Top 5 things you need to know going into the premiere episode of “The Walking Dead,” titled “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be.”


Meet Lucille – The biggest question looming over the premiere is the identity of Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim. The Season 6 finale ended with horrified screams and the crunching of bones as Negan crushed someone’s skull with his baseball bat “Lucille.” All we know is that Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln ) hubris will cost him the life of a loved one.

Maggie’s Baby – Should Maggie (Lauren Cohan ) avoid Negan’s wrath, the last surviving member of the Greene family still won’t be out of the woods. Rick’s group was captured as they escorted a sick and pregnant Maggie to the doctor at the Hilltop community. Maggie developed stomach pains and feared a miscarriage, and her condition has only deteriorated. It is unknown if her baby is still alive.

Carol and Morgan Make New Friends – Carol’s (Melissa McBride ) attempt to live in solitude was cut short by a vicious battle with one of Negan’s Saviors. Morgan (Lennie James ) arrived in time to save her, but not before she was shot several times and bleeding out. Two strange men clad in some type of armor agree to escort Carol and Morgan to their community. If Carol and Morgan can work together to win over this group, they could be a pivotal ally against the Saviors.


“Richonne” – After plenty of fan “shipping,” the show gave us a surprisingly satisfying twist when Rick and Michonne (Danai Gurira ) began a romantic relationship. The two apocalypse power players have formed a close-knit family, but couples don’t often get happy endings in “The Walking Dead.” These two have butt heads over past leadership decisions, and the Saviors will likely put their relationship to the test.

Alexandria is Vulnerable – While the more battle ready Alexandrians set out for the Hilltop, Alexandria is being managed by Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam). While Gabriel stepped up in a major way last season by carrying Judith to safety, the town is currently devoid of most of its heavy hitters. What’s more, Gabriel and Co. have no idea that Rick’s group was kidnapped. If the Saviors descend on Alexandria while Rick’s group is with Negan, Gabriel is not in a position to adequately defend the town.

“The Walking Dead” executive producers are Scott M. Gimple (showrunner), Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd ,
David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse . Per AMC, as in previous seasons, this year’s 16 episodes will air in two parts: the first eight kick off October 23 and the final eight return in February 2017.
