1.I change new engine on the car after that mechanic suggest we should use oando gear oil which I bought it in they station after everything we went to test drive the car is moving but can't select all the gear and the speedro meter is not counting,the ABS light is showing,today I called electrician to run scan on it which he said the ABS is bad so my question can ABS make gear not to select well and as he said once the speedro metre count that the gear will select pls house help me I'm very weak about this car.the old engine was smoking although I bought the car from someone then I decided to change new direct tokumbo engine. Nurey and others pls help

Oando oil inside camry 2005. One ofnmy client who has a Peugeot 407 recently travelled with the car down to Abuja claiming he met a Peugeot specialist. On servicing the transmission oando dextron ii was used. I can confidently tell you the gearbox is no more. Car cannot move again. Re run a scan and request for the result.npost result here. But with that palm oil in your ride. Am afraid you might need to dance to buhari's makaba music

Your speedometer stopped working becos either the sensors at the front tires is weak/bad or the wires connecting it is broken.

the have check the sensor and clean it but sometimes it works and stop

Your gear is not changing properly becos you are not using the approved gear oil (eg type iv) . Get your car manual to know the approved gear oil and service manual to know when next to change the oil.

If you download your car service manual you will also see that there is also the gear differential oil, which if not guaged will also cause a gear selection issue.

My final advice. Clean your gear oil fillter. Put new gear oil(good one). Then allow the car to rest for a day or so, so that the remaining metallic particles that is clogging the gear plates will settle at the bottom plate of the gear box. But remember to fill the differential gear oil(located behind the gear box). Had the same issue as yours.

1. Transmission is 13pin same type found in 07 camry. It is very sensitive to the type of oil used.

2. You recently changed the oil in the transmission, was the transmission warm, or hot or cold when u did this?

3. You recently replaced your engine, by any chance, did you remove the drive shafts and return them back?

Also scan vehicle and see if you have a p500 code.

Before you put any transmission oil, that car must be cold to prevent damage to the gearbox. I usually wait till the next morning before any job of such is done

Where did all the metallic particles come from?...if by chance it means the clutches are burnt,u can leave d car to settle for 5years sef,e still no go work o ,OK Oga Diportive give us ur own opinion on this issues
