tutudame:yes oh, they should do the needful ASAP because the quality of education depends on the quality of teachers. Unfortunately, the system is not treating teachers well. Teachers are regarded as the dregs of the society; people who have no need of the good thingsof life and so must manage life with crumbs thrown at them as salary whenever it comes. This is unacceptable. |

These figures are actually for the allocation shared in September 2016. The figures for each state shared this month isn't yet released but it will be lower than last month's because the overall allocation fell from N510 to N420 billion http://www.tv360nigeria.com/nigeria-records-decrease-faac-distribution-september/ |
Re: Rivers State Teachers Recruitment 2012 by emekatex: 10:38am On Oct 24, 2016 |
muami:The allocation is always shared d next month. (Eg) d one shared last week 20/10/2016 was dat of september. |
Re: Rivers State Teachers Recruitment 2012 by muami(m): 11:13am On Oct 24, 2016 |
emekatex: That's the exact point I'm making. The figures being brandied now is the August allocation figures which were shared in September. The amount shared last week is the actual September allocation and the figure is much more lower than the September figures. Anyways, anyone still I doubt or confused can click on the link l posted earlier and watch the video evidence. |

Who eles is the suspect behind this threat if not the governor wike and his cronies. Let the wicked pple pay us our salaries for Christ sake. |

I won't be surprised if he squander the money as usual. especially now that he is planning to host the following useless programmes as follows; 1- most Beautiful Girl Beauty Pageant. 2- Victor Ezeji football testimonial. 3- On going scam in the name of Amnesty. 4- Actors Guide of Nigeria . 5- Rivers united football trip to Madrid for training camp. You are a civil servant in Rivers State, your parents are civil servants, your parents are pensioners and you have been complaining of hardship and hunger. You blame it on recession and President Buhari, whereas it's Governor Nyesom Wike who is causing your hunger. He is the person responsible for your hardship. For eight months, he has not paid you. He has not paid your parents. Yet, since he become Governor, there has never been any month that he didn't receive allocation from the Federal Government. He prefers to spend the money hosting all manner of conferences, sponsoring election in Edo; sponsoring PDP candidates facing elections in other states; hosting failed PDP conventions; bribing people everywhere. He prefers spending the money he should use to pay you and your parents to flex muscle in Abuja to be seen as PDP leader in Nigeria. This month, among all the Niger Delta Governors, he received the highest allocation. He will still not pay you. He will still not pay your parents. The question you should be asking is, "where is all the money going to?". You shouldn't be shouting BUHARI's name. It's Wike who is not paying you. He is the person responsible for your hunger. Going eight months without salary when you don't have another means of income, and you expected not to be hungry? Was CHANGE Manna going to fall from heaven? It's Wike who has refused to pay you when he has no reason not to that is causing your hunger and suffering. Face it! 6 Likes |

Teachers are the most neglected group of workers in this present administration, perhaps because they don't have a Union or the Union has no leader(s). |

tutudame:1. That is selfishness 2. He is not a unionist 3. He sounds like government agent. 3. He is not an activist 4. Did the threats prevent him from resigning and pave the way for the courageous person to take over. 5. Ok, he think that to be a union leader is only for mouth. 6. He think that NLC and ASUU that usual embark on strike don't get such threat. 7. The best option is that if he can't do his job, he should better resign. 1 Like |

Why won't he get threats if he's not already compromised in short I don't call it threat but that the government has promised to expose his corrupt records and use EFCC and DSS to arrest him should he call for a strike action ... Its a pity these politicians are all the same who will rescue us from this bondage, they told us dakuku Peterside would become a puppet to Amaechi and Buhari and steal state money should he win the election as governor, they told us wike was going to secure state money for development but they never told us WIKE was going to be WICKED and turn a blind eye to civil servants plight. Politicians are all the same don't you think so ? 2 Likes |

dmercy141983: Commedy!!!!! Imagine this lines....@demercy leave principals , some not all have been bought over by some officials who always call them for one meeting or the other telling them to tell their staff to come to work even when they have not been paid. If there is any threat to the life and family of NUT chairman...I suggest two things: 1. Someone already said ...Resign. 2. He should report such threat immediately to the security agents...Police, Army, Air force, Navy, NSA, National Union, TUC leaders, NLC Leaders, and The Mass media Radio and Television. The simple truth is that from the head of the profession to the toe .....there are lot of betrayals and teachers are easily compromised because of long term poverty experiences configured into their mindset by various experience especially delayed payment! and is the reason teachers are not united! on a final note; Those who are afraid can not win a battle...even in the Bible God always tell fearful people not to go to war! 1 Like |

dmercy141983: in this present day and age he can't record the calls?? note the time of calls, IF THE CALLER USED HIDDEN IDENTITY? even SMS from bulk SMS platforms can be blocked, thus only gsm numbered SMS would be received, and can be traced...... if genuine threat is seen. abeg, he should resign if he can't stand the heat, and return to the class room! I don't sympathize with him. 1 Like |
