organicfoods: Good job boss. Any record on expenses so far? |
Re: My Organic Poultry Project (broilers) by organicfoods(m): 9:21pm On Oct 26, 2016 |
Juliana7:Actually this is the strength of this method apart from growing them very fast. Most problems in poultry arises from litter borne disease. Most conventional way of production treat diseases while this method prevent them from happening by improving on the immune system of the chicken and securing their immediate environment/access to water and feeds. It is always very difficult to control chicks from feeding on their litters. The organic way of production is to keep them healthy right from their feed to water by using Lacto bacillus...These microbes occupies space within the litters and prevent disease causing microorganism from thriving. This the foundation of the so called Bio-security. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Nearing one Kg before 1 month. Who does this, except for the organic farmers.. Vaccination do lead to stress in poultry and impede growth of birds. I am to let you know that without them you will do better with organic approach. 5 Likes 3 Shares
