goldfish80: If Nacho trained as a ten, he would not become one of the deadliest finishers in Europe today. All these because I showed you Greizmann can play as a lone striker. You can take the break you want. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 10:22pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe:He was already a deadly finisher before he went abroad. Manu Garba said Kelechi used to score 4-5goals in training playing as a no8.... If Man city plays him in his proper position, he may have gotten more than 6 goals already this season. Have you given that a thought? |

TheGoodJoe:You showed me Greizman can play as a lone striker? Even an ultra defensive Diego Simeone haven't given that a thought to play as a lone striker so he can free up another body to sure up his midfield? Lol lol How about your guy Umar? |

goldfish80: It seems you are hiding from the truth. I showed you, you can lie to yourself and run from Simeone to Garba. Greizmann can play as a lone striker. I wonder how you know Simeon's thoughts. Teach me nah. Lolllll. Upon all the debate and I told you I like dynamic strikers, you are calling Sadiq Umar. That is not my kind of striker at all. My types are Tevez, Aguero, Suarez, Forlan, Messi and the latest Iheanacho. |

TheSuperNerd: Chai so u basically stole wat i said and added Vince Carter to it. Btw Vince was also named Air Canada and to some was a better dunker than Mike. He also is much younger than Jordan so Jordan could not have outshined him, the only time they were in the league together Jordan was already retired twice. My point was that if it were up to people like u we no go hear word about how Michael could do other stuff besides dunking but who cares, people watch basketball 4 the dunks just like we all watch football for the goals. We are talking about Kelechi being in a conversation featuring the likes of Mullar, Chicharito, Aubameyang, Costa and u can even add Messi and Ronaldo as guys who are just serial killers in the box, like I said it is called tap in but it ain't easy. I would like to see u find the space make the run and finish with 3 rushing defending in sight. Pep said it best when u give the ball to Nacho he scores. 1 Like |

Icon4s: The English System produced Dele Alli and Iwobi. Not all will be superstars but we should give opportunities to the talented ones. Ejaria is another one, i hope we do not lose to England. |

goldfish80: Just advertise your lack of understanding of Nacho. Fox in the box. How can someone on this thread say that? Breath in. Then say, One of the deadliest strikers in the World. Do you not feel better now? I will charge you a fee for my therapeutic treatment. 1 Like 1 Share |

goldfish80: Guy. Go and take your break. I will give you long vacation. Lolllll. Opting to play Greizmann as a Sub does not mean Simeone did not think of it. Are you ashamed now? Lol. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 10:40pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe:So you're denying Umar now? At the Olympics he was your favourite with Troost and Mikel.... You went out of your way to defend him, now he is not your kind of striker. Lol You always make hesty generalisation TheGoodJoe lol lol lol |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 10:41pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe: Remember in the u17 wc when Musa Mohammed took a long shot and once the keeper spilled Iheanacho was there to finish. That goal off the throwing was one of the best finishing u will see home and away. His finishing has always been his biggest asset and u can't teach that, if not every English striker would have that talent. Just like Etebo who is just as deadly it is instinct mixed with technique and timing. We are not all equal as football players some were just born with it. |

tbaba1234: They will some come running. I saw Iwobi today all those young boys wanted to be like him, trying the same moves it was pleasing to watch. I believe the more he shines for club and country the more others get intriged. Still Ejeria should be our prime target it will be a shame to lose a player we already had in our hands. |

goldfish80: Show me where I said Simeone played Griezman as a lone striker. It is not good debating football after drinking. Your points are incoherent. Loll. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 10:51pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
BascoVanVeli: Where did I say Iheanacho learnt finishing in England? See me and Yara Yara, see trouble. I said, City play Iheanacho up front because, as you said in the bolded above, his biggest asset is finishing. He will have more chances to finish more playing up front. If not City, Iheanacho might not get converted to a striker where he gets chances to finish at such frequency. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 10:53pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
Looollll... Nope! I've always known it. That's the reason he's called Air Jordan. It's not about the dunks but his "time in the air" before the dunks come slamming into those baskets. I know why I brought in Vince C.... Lol.. And yep, younger or not, he was outshone. Even Phelps outshone all his "younger rivals" in the pool at Rio 2016. Look... You know what I am saying and you know why "Tap-in merchant" isn't a suitable name. Pep says, "when u give Nacho the ball, he SCORES" "Scores" can mean with a 25yards strike, an acrobatic shot, a header, a volley, a short run past the last defenders and beating the keeper, a round-the-keeper kinda goal, an outside-the-18 curler, a backheeled strike, AND EVEN A "TAP-IN"..... So it is he scores... NOT he "taps in" Get it? Tap-in merchant doesn't fit Nacho and doesn't best describe what he is about centrally. He's more than "just tap-ins". BascoVanVeli: 1 Like 1 Share |

goldfish80: Chineke Me. TheGoodjoe, Sadiq Umar best player? Chai you lie more than Linus. If you take lie detector test, you will fail is your nairaland moniker goldfish80. I was impressed with him giving his best. I do not even like those kind of strikers. I was against Manchester United signing Berbatov. I believed his pattern will not fit the kind of players Manchester United had then. Nani, CR7, Rooney and Tevez. I was for dynamism for a very long time. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 10:59pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe:You claimed Greizmann can play as a lone striker, I wondered why Simeone haven't given that a thought in his ultra defensive set up, after all he stands to gain a lot having an extra man in midfield. You asked how I knew what simeone was thinking, which means you have empirical prove Simeone sees him as a lone striker, a fact you cannot justify with an example in any verifiable game... Now, between myself and you who is incoherent? Lol lol 1 Like |

goldfish80: LOLS. Someone stop this guy. Yara Yara, anybody. You do not know if Simeone gave it a thought or not. Playing a player in a position is not done in the mind. Thoughts are in the mind. |

Whaaaaattttt?? Is that what he seeeeeeeeeessssss?? Fox-in-the-box?? Nacho?? Na wa oooo!!!! #faints **I can't believe someone on this thread terms Nacho a fox-in-the-box kinda Striker based on how we all see Nacho execute the no.9 role** TheGoodJoe: |

goldfish80: Saying someone is not as poor a player as many thinks does not make Sadiq Umar my favorite player. I repeat, that is not the kind of strikers I like. I was not happy when Manchester City wanted to sign Bony. Just as I said, I defended Keshi a lot on the forum because I saw how he scaled the challenges he faced. That did not mean his pattern was my best. |

TheSuperNerd: First of all wrong it was not about him staying in the air cuz there was also a Clyde The Glide Drextler who slept in the air. Dr J who never went to med school was the first to dunk from the freethrow line even befoe MJ. Vince did not play with Mike, by the time Vince came in Mike was saying goodbye having just won his 6th and final trophy so they never faced off not even in a dunk contest. As a dunker Vince was just as good as MJ, how do i explain this? He jumped over a 7'3 man during a game at the olympics. His dunk contest is up there with anyone. So this is how i know u don't know what u are talking about. All 4 of his goals so far have been on touch plays i'm i making this up? His first epl goal was a one touch winner even against the spurs it was a one touch play, u cannot avoid these facts and if he keeps scoring at this rate i would be happy, all i am saying is he should do wat has gotten him here, i begged for Pep to release him but people asked me why but now u are angry that he is doing great at wat his coach wants which is to move around and find his chances. Maybe this is wat Eto'o and Ibra did not want to hear becos upon all Messi's abilties he is the more deadly finisher nobody slides in to finish a chance like Messi. 1 Like |

Kog45: Well, as you said we need to analyse things professionally, but how come you rate Oshaniwa than Taiwo? Is that professional? Going by statistics, Taiwo is the best left back Nigeria ever produced. Oshaniwa never near. One of our major problem is, we don't value form or class, what we want is young players. If Italy followed our philosophy, Pirol no go make Italian team. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by goldfish80(m): 11:33pm On Oct 25, 2016 |
TheGoodJoe:Simeone will pull formations straight from his azz without processing it in his mind, trying the formation out in practice before deployment on match day. Since he has never played Griezman as a lone striker in 3years , its a safe bet to say he hasn't give it a thought. And yet am the incoherent one.. Lol |

Looooolllll.... I guess this is the part where I am expected to do these: ..................................................................... **pops one eye open and close it again quickly** **give out a smile in my coma state** **and begin to "imagine" **and.......... *SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!! ....................................................................... It won't work!!!! This requires actual medical heads.... This fox-in-the-box comment is causing mayhem in my system.... Only proper medical heads can "truly" wake me up... I may need intensive care because of this. #Comatose TheGoodJoe: |
