Pic: The banker, Oluchi Tochukwu, and the two assassins arrested by the Ogun State Police Command

Well like i said in my earlier post, i know this young lady and her family and i have discovered the true story ---- the husband is trying to set her up and ruin her reputation in an ongoing child custody case:

Emeke Ugwuonye:
DEVELOPMENT IN THE STORY OF A FEMALE BANKER ARRESTED BY HER HUSBAND A DAY BEFORE HER COURT DATE AGAINST HIM.
As an experienced criminal defense lawyer, I can swear that this story in the press is bogus. It is pure figment of the imagination of the husband and his bogus police.

Carefully imagine the weapons cited - wood and stick and stuff. And acid was used to try to assassinate him. We all know that acid is not a weapon used by assassin. I will defend this woman.
DPA will suspend any other planned action until we examine and ascertain the direction of this cockandbull.

WHY THE STORY BY THE OGUN STATE POLICE COMMISSIONER Is AN ABSOLUTE LIE: (We are developing this report.)
To show you that the story reported in the Nations about Oluchi by the Ogun Police Commissioner is the kind of lie that was bought with money, and hence false, I am going to reproduce the entire report and poke holes in it through my notes in brackets:

Suspected fleeing assassins – Chigozie Nworie and Kingsley Ofotele, have been arrested in Ogun State by the Police while escaping to Anambra State with their victim’s Range Rover Jeep – a Sport Utility Vehicle(SUV).
(NOTE: There is a deliberate effort not to tell you which area they were arrested in Ogun State. Yet they want you to know they were escaping to Anambra State through Ogun State. They could not tell you where exactly they were arrested or the time they were arrested. Why is such detail important? Simple. They were specific when they told you where the crime was committed in Lagos State. As a lawyer, when you see such gap or inconsistency in the level of abstraction in a sing story, you question it).

The two suspects and another yet to be apprehended, attacked their victim, Mr Tochukwu Onyebuchi, in his Compound at Ajah area of Lagos State using cutlass and rods before pouring acid on him, but Tochukwu survived the assassination attempt.
(NOTE: The police were certain that these were assassins who planned the attack in advance. But look at the weapon they used - cutlass, rods and acid. The police said that they poured acid on Tocrukwu, but he survived the assassination attempt. Okay, what really happened? The police did not tell you. How did he survive? Did the acid touch him and he was treated or did he dodge the acid such that not a drop touched him? Did they hit him with the rod or did then cut him with the cutlass or did all the attempt occur without any contact between the weapons and the the victim? This would have been answered if there was any mention of any treatment that Tochuckwu received. So what did they mean by the fact that he survived the attack? Again, the Police Commissioner is a liar.)

The Nation gathered that the suspects were hired by the victim’s banker – wife, Oluchi Onyebuchi, to eliminate her husband even as she also supplied the weapons used in the botched assassination bid to the suspects.
(NOTE: The bribe extended to the journalist. Otherwise what do they mean by the phrase "The Nation gathered that". How did the nation gather that? Was it not what the Police Commissioner told the Nation's reporter? Did the Nation carry out any other investigation outside what their reporter was told at the police station? So, an intelligent person knows when a lie is being smoothened up with an empty phrase and verbiage. How did they gather that the wife hired them? And that she supplied the weapons?. The story is a purely paid lie. The question is how much was the Police Commissioner paid for the crap?)

The Police Commissioner in Ogun State, Ahmed Iliyasu, who paraded the suspects before reporters at the Eleweran Headquarters of the Police Command, said the suspects were taken the SUV to Oluchi’s brother in Anambra as instructed by her when the Police in Ogun arrested the at Ijebu – Ode stretch of Sagamu – Benin expressway last Wednesday.
(NOTE: The idea of parading suspects when some other suspects are still on the run is evidence that the police are not interested in any crime. It is a pure plan to peddle a lie and cover up corruption. Why parading them? Oluchi was arrested last night without access to lawyers, without being allowed to make any phone calls. So, she as tortured. Anything she said or wrote at the station under such circumstance is false. There is not even a single instance where the Ogun Police Commissioner mentioned the due process rights accorded the woman, such as the right under Section 35(1)(2) of the Nigerian Constitution - the right of a suspect to remain silent until she has consulted with her lawyer. Oluchi has a lawyer. The Police Commissioner knew that but denied her access to her lawyer. Why would a Police Commissioner do that? Because he must have been bribed).

Iliyasu added that further investigation led to the arrest of Oluchi on Tuesday, this week, at Ayobo area of Lagos State, where she was found hidding in her maiden home.
(NOTE: Mr Iliyasu is a bloody liar. The fact is that after the separation of Oluchi from her husband, she has been staying mostly with her parents and that is where their only child is staying. So, telling us that a person was hiding in her usual place of abode is a liar that only a corrupt police officer can tell. Ouchi was arrested in the place where she normally stays.).

“One Oluchi who is married to her husband(Tochukwu Onyebuchi) years ago, but the marriage recently has some problems which prompted the couples to separate from each other.
(NOTE: Again the Police Commissioner lied. The truth is that the only reason that Tochuchu would like to implicate Oluchi on this madness is because they have been in court for the custody of their only child. Tocrukwu wanted desperately to put the woman out of circulation so that he would win a court case that he is destined to lose. And the police are helping him achieve that.)

“The custody of their only child is being contested in court, but Oluchi has another plan. She arranged with the trio of Chigozie Smart Nworie, Kingsley Ikechukwu Ofotele and one other who is now at large to eliminate her husband.
(NOTE: If the Ogun State Police Commissioner could parade my client and call her a criminal, I have every right to call Mr. Ilyasu also a criminal and the crime he committed is the probably bribe he took to peddle this story.)

“She arranged for the weapons – cutlass, Iron rod and acid to be used and kept somewhere in the husband’s compound in Lagos and described where the weapons were kept to the assailants.
(NOTE: Another criminal lie by the Police Commissioner. Oluchi has been separate from her husband. She has no access to the husband's compound. To suggest that she procured acid, rod, and cutlass and hid them in the husband's compound is madness. How did she get access to the husband's compound? And why would she choose that location to hide weapons?)

“The suspects went there as planned, matcheted the man severally on his head and poured acid on him. It was the offensive odour that came out from the suit worn by the victim when the acid touched it that made the suspects to quickly abandon him and took away his Range Rover Jeep which the wife instructed them to take and deliver to her brother in Anambra State.
(NOTE: Can you imagine that? Which hospital treated the man of the machete cut wounds and the acid? Oh, it was the offensive odor of the acid that scared them away. So, they had on idea what acid was like yet they chose to use that as their weapon? Tochukwu went with the police last night to arrest Oluchi. So, his injuries of the past few days have healed miraculously? Crazy and criminal lies by the Police Commissioner).

“Luck ran against them when the Policemen of Ogun State Command sighted the vehicle along Ijebu – Ode – Benin expressway and stopped it for a search.
(NOTE: Again this is not specific locational information. But look at the crap. "Luck ran against them". How did that happen? How did the police happen to catch them at that spot? What signal did they have? What tip off? If it was a random checkpoint that led to their arrest, what triggered the suspicion of the police? And how did the police link the car to the man covered with cuts all over his head and acid over his body? Again, you can see that the police are lying).

“While searching the vehicle, blood stain was seen and the two occupants – the suspects, were unable to give satisfactory account of themselves, hence they were arrested,” Iliyasu said.
(NOTE: This is absolutely not good enough. Why did you search that vehicle? What caused you to search that vehicle? Were you searching every vehicle on that road? And what tests have you done on the blood to confirm it was this victim's blood? Again, they try to manipulate you.)

However, the 32 years old Mrs Oluchi Onyebuchi who is a staff of one of the new generation banks in Lagos, acknowledged that her three years old marriage with her husband is really passing through a stormy weather but said she had “no intention to kill him.”
(NOTE: Look at the tepid and deceptive manner they reported Oluchi's assertion of her innocence. She has no intention to kill him. If she said so, on what basis would the Police Commissioner be declaring her guilty without trial? It means that the Police Commissioner has been bought. And by saying she has no intention to kill him, he fails to admit that she denied having any involvement in any plan to attack the man. It is all a hogwash. And the Police Commissioner committed a crime by fabricating evidence against an innocent person.)

Oluchi also denied renting the trio of Chigozie Smart Nworie, Kingsley Ikechukwu Ofotele and one other who is now at large to eliminate her husband.
(NOTE: the fact is that she has nothing to do with the alleged crime. The fact is that she maintains her innocence completely. The fact is that they denied her access to lawyer and they tortured her. The Police Commissioner should be ashamed of himself)
NOTE: I spoke in my capacity as a lawyer to Oluchi. Her father and I have been in communication since last night. He has given me sufficient authority to speak as her counsel until further notice. I have a duty to protect my client against a vicious and criminal lie and evidence tampering by the Commissioner of Police of Ogun State. And I use this opportunity to send a message across the land that if you think that because you are Police Commissioner you could come out and peddle lies against an innocent person, then you must know that you place yourself at the same risks of public disgrace. That is why I publicly call the Ogun State Police Commissioner a liar. He is not fit to be in the police force.

This is the lead up to the case before the man perfected his settup plan-------------

TROUBLE BREWING ALL NIGHT:
WOMAN ARRESTED BY HER HUSBAND FEW HOURS BEFORE SHE WAS TO APPEAR AGAINST HIM IN COURT.

It is 1:00am. As usual, we stayed up to follow up on a crisis. A woman is due to appear in Court on Wednesday to defend a child custody case her estranged husband had filed against her. But the man does not want her to be present in court. So, the man had the police arrest the woman by 8pm on Tuesday. The woman is a banker, a branch manager. The police did not allow her to make a phone call when they arrested her. As a result, she could not even drop the key to the bank branch office which she has. Obviously, that may lead to her sack, an entirely different kettle of fish.

By 11pm on Tuesday night (about two hours ago) the lawyer who has been representing the woman in court and who is to be with her in court this morning contacted me. She informed me that the police had taken her client away to an unknown location. She has been preparing for argument in court on Wednesday. But there is not going to be an argument. Her client will not show up. The husband of their client, against whom they are in court, has seen to it that the woman was taken by the police at the right time.

Now, this lawyer realizes that their opponent has upped the ante and this is not what she bargained for. The lawyer is brave and feisty. She is passionate and wants to do justice for her client. But now she needed DPA. You may get to read the interesting chat communications between that lawyer and me. I admire her and respect her. But we agree that the matter has escalated beyond her control.

Before I give you the entire story, I will direct you to a petition the arrested woman wrote to the police against her husband. But as you know, the police do not respond to a petition written by a woman against her husband. But once the husband writes against the wife, she is arrested. That is how this woman wrote a petition against her husband asking the police to protect her, only for the police to arrest her. That is the game tonight but we are dealing with it":

"We are counsels to Mrs. Oluchi Onyeabushi (herein referred to as our client) and on whose instructions and authority we write this letter.
"Our Client wedded Mr Tochukwu Onyeabushi on the 11th of January 2014 in Lagos State. Shortly after that, Our client became a victim of Domestic Violence, all the affections that Mr Tochukwu had for our client ceased. He turned her to a punching bag at the slightest provocation without any recourse. This domestic violence perpetuated on our client went on for months even during the course of her pregnancy.
"On the 27th of April 2014, our client went into premature labour and gave birth to a baby girl at 31 weeks or 7 months old as a result of the severe beating she had received from Mr Tochukwu during the week when he repeatedly beat, slapped, kicked and hit her with his fists and his belt.

"Our Client endured all the beatings and humiliations until the 29th of September 2014, when Mr. Tochukwu at about 10pm beat her up and pushed her out of their matrimonial home. Our Client sought refuge with her parents at their Ayobo Home. She was with her parents for 3 days before Mr Tochukwu came and apologized and she went back with him. Nevertheless, that did not stop him from battering her.
"On the 1st of November 2014, at about 8pm, Mr Tochukwu beat up our client so bad to the extent that she passed out for some time. It took the quick and timely intervention of the Nanny to revive her, Still Mr Tochukwu remained unperturbed. On the 2nd of November at about 6.30am, Mr Tochukwu for no just cause and without any provocation on the side of our client started battering her. He held her neck and attempted to choke her to death. Our Client managed to free herself from his chokehold and ran out of the house with her six month old daughter dressed in only her night wears.

This last incident of 2nd November 2014 informed our client’s decision to move back to her father’s house because she fears for her life and that of her 6 months old baby.

"Since our client moved back with her parents as a result of the domestic violence she received at the hands of Mr. Tochukwu, he has been threatening her life. Our Client is a banker who works with Fidelity Bank PLC. Mr. Tochukwu now goes into the banking hall of our client and abuses, embarrasses, insults and threatens her life in the presence of her customers and other bank Staff. The Human Resources Department of the bank has called him severally and informed him on the legal implications of threat to life especially in a public place like a bank; still there was no change from Mr. Tochukwu, who has been repeating the same act, even as recent as on the 7th of January 2015.

"When Mr. Tochukwu threatens our client, he uses words and phrases like “I WILL KILL YOU”, I WILL BEAT YOU BLUE AND BLACK”, “YOU ARE A BITCH”. He has also threatened to forcefully take custody of the baby girl of the marriage who is only 8 months old. Mr. Tochukwu has infact on two separate occasions attempted to forcefully take the child of the marriage from our client’s father’s house while our client was at work but did not succeed.

"It is our utmost belief that Mr. Tochukwu is capable of causing grievous bodily harm to our client or even taking the life of our client as he has attempted to do so in time past.

"Sir, we humbly urge you to use your good office to put an end to this intimidation, embarrassment and harassment of our client by Mr. Tochukwu Onyeabushi in order to preserve the life of our client.
Thank you for your anticipated quick and positive response."
