kokaneprodigy:Sarcasm? Same Chamberlain who provided an assist for Sanchez to score the first goal today? Or was it the same Chamberlain who acted as a DM when Coquelin and Elneny were nowhere to be found this evening? |

Pataki:There was nothing so special abt the assist, it's a routine assist, cross make I nod. Dude was missing sitters couldn't even make the keeper make a save, running with the ball heads down. Thanks to the sub we would have been held to a draw bro. I'm not sure u saw the match. |

kokaneprodigy: And yet, the first substitution Wenger made was not to remove Chamberlain but Iwobi? The same sub you are thanking right after we were forced into a draw? 1 Like |

What could we possibly line up against Spurs. Xhaka would be out of ban for the fixture. What's the status on these guys , Walcott, Cazorla, I can't trust Ox with Spurs game. The combo of Elneny and Coq ain't that cool from an attack perspective. Na that game dey scare me. |

kokaneprodigy: I agree with Pataki and Sod9. While i am not overlooking his horrendous start to the season, especially after a great preseason, OX was fantastic today. His runs and crosses threatened Sunderland, in-fact Van Aanholt was unable to make any runs into our half because he was wary of OX. Over the last 2 games (Reading and Sunderland) OX has shown marked improvements, and that is what we need. Personally, i hope Walcott is fit enough to face Spuds, he has a knack for scoring against them. Also, i can not overemphasize how much we need the little magician (Santi) back from this weird injury. 1 Like |

Roland17:Oga it's Sunderland here a team yet to win a game this season and he couldn't even make the keeper make a save, wasting clear cut chances. The fact that Pataki appraised him using his defensive contributions speaks volume. |

Pataki:I praise all my players whenever they perform. Giroud performed well today- scored a striker's goal and a trademark header. How many headers have we scored without Giroud? Few. Against Middlesbrough we lacked a target man like Giroud. Today his introduction brought life to our game. Until his next match I will keep appreciating him. |

Giroud been injured since the start of the season and he's already on course to outscore Ibra. |

kokaneprodigy:Ox did well today. His only mistake was finishing. But he made good runs especially off the all. He also spared Gibbs' blushes with that excellent tackle. |

Spy360:And that mistake almost cost us the game, he played as an attacker and not a defender I can spare Elneny,Coq for Making such mistakes not Ox. |

Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 7:29pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
kokaneprodigy:I am not saying he should be MOTM. I am saying he tried. To finish you have to get the chance. It is harder as an attacker to get the chance than to finish. Anybody can be able to finish, but not every body can make smart runs against defenders to get the chance. He got into clear position about two times. Even Ozil couldn't finish his own. So spare the guy. Im try. |

Ox isn't the much scoring type, but the speed and energy he has, tires and threatens opposition teams a lot, whilst Walcott is the type that scores even if he is the most silent on the pitch IMO, OX deputised well for Theo, his assist was top class to me, and i can recall him making a DM kinda tackle late in the game. He might not have been excellent but far from poor so far, lets get behind the young lad As for Giroud, he's very useful from the bench against tight defence and game like yesterday, but I fear Wenger may slot him straight into starting 11, it's a matter of time fans will ger frustrated again Let start every game with our roaming and fast front4 . |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Pataki: 8:33am On Oct 30, 2016 |
kokaneprodigy: So far so good, I am not the only one who has spoken well about Chamberlain on this thread. That should tell you that he performed accurately well enough. The one person I felt MIA yesterday was Iwobi. That was why I had no issues when he was the first to be substituted in our game for Giroud to come on. Speaking of Giroud, just before he came on to the pitch right after Sunderland had equalized; this same Chamberlain delivered a sumptuous ball into the Sunderland box, and there was no one there to convert that ball into a goal. Giroud came on thereafter, the next ball to be delivered into the box - Giroud, Goal! What we want and so far we are seeing is that every Arsenal player puts in a shift. So far, Chamberlain is living up to that expectation. The same Chamberlain who would lazily not want to defend, was found making a DMesque kind of tackle. I am impressed by him and hopefully long may this growth continue with Chamberlain. 1 Like |

Spy360: Chill bro.. .it's just one game. If he becomes consistent then you can rate him, but for now Sanchez is my best option as a center forward Giroud can rot on the bench for all I care. |
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Fkforyou(m): 11:19am On Oct 30, 2016 |
kokaneprodigy: I'm not a fan of Chamberlain, I do tell my pals that his brains is on his foot...he is walking on them, so how can he think clearly. Having said that, I think he tried today. The person I was not impressed with was El neny, the dude was just passing side ways, slowing the tempo of the game, rarely made any offensive moves, in fact he made me to realize how important Santi is to the team. @Egbon Pataki, Coquelin was very impressive yesterday. His tackles were superb...he just needs to work more on his pass accuracy. 1 Like |

United may be below watford on the table. But they can attract players without ucl and that's all that counts. |
