PLAYERS SHOWED WILL AND DESIRE “I think we were the better team on the pitch. We controlled the match, even with 10 men, I think you couldn’t feel there was one player less [when Ander Herrera was sent off] because of the mentality, the attitude, the concentration, the belief and the fight of the players. People could see that they gave everything until the last second and that is a very difficult thing to build. In this moment, we have that in this team. We need to congratulate the players for their fight and for their belief, for their will and desire to win. They did it until the last second. We are not happy. We created a lot of chances, we couldn’t score. It is important to score and we didn’t, but we created. If we don’t create then we should be more worried. We did very well. We tried and we are not happy. I repeat, the players were fantastic, they did a great job and they deserve to be congratulated.” THE RESULTS WILL COME “You always believe. When the best player on the pitch is their goalkeeper, you always believe that a minimum of one goal will happen but it didn’t happen. We need to keep going, to keep fighting and the players need to keep believing because this is the way, with the right mentality and the right approach to every match. The results will come and we will have better days.” WE BELIEVED THE GOAL WOULD COME “It was hard. You are fighting since the first second to get the result. We showed that. We controlled the game, we were dominant. With 10 men we kept doing the same, fighting for the same objective and we can’t ask more from the players because they were fantastic.” UNITED WILL HAVE BETTER DAYS “Football is a little bit like this. There are moments when you create so many chances and the ball doesn’t go in. You can’t score a goal. There are moments when you create one or two chances and you score. But I think it is important to say that when we play well, when we believe and when we create so many chances then good things will happen. The goals will start coming and this is what we need to believe. The boys deserve more than what happened today. We will have better days for sure and happy days but, again, I want to congratulate all of them because they were fantastic.” - RUI FARIA (ASSISTANT MANAGER) 2 Likes |

"I think you have to give Burnley some credit for the blocks and for the fact they put their bodies on the line. "Plus, Tom Heaton made some fantastic saves, but I don't think I've seen United have as many chances as they had here for a long time. They should have won that game. "It could have been six, seven or eight and Burnley wouldn't have had any complaints. They were brilliant chances. The Zlatan Ibrahimovic chance at the end just summed it up. "United created so many chances and should have taken them, it's not happening for them at the moment or Ibrahimovic, who is a good finisher. "He's scored goals all over the world - he'll not believe, he's not scored a goal in that match. "There wasn't any negative reflections on any of the United players as I think they played well today. I don't think they could have done any more apart from putting the ball in the back of the net. "You can sometimes have days like that. I think when you're a player in the dressing room and you've had nearly 40 shots on goal and created some unbelievable moments, you can only think 'how have we not won that game? "It's a little bit of bad luck they're having at the moment - it's certainly a blow. That was a game that they absolutely dominated." - Gary Neville |

37 shots without a goal! ... O ooh ma god!! ... where's the so called 'god of manchester' ... If only they were scoring goals, Pogba would be above 10-15 assists by now, smh. ... And I hope that LVG virus hasn't found its way into mourinho's bloodstream, WTH does Mou see in Fellaini ....... I would favour this selection ...........Ibra/Rashford. ........... Martial.........Mata/Rooney.......... Mhkitaryan/Lingard .......Pogba/Herrera...........Schneiderlin/Carrick........ Shaw/Blind...... Smalling/Blind..... Bailly/Rojo :X....... Valencia/Darmian. .......... Fellaini should go f*k himself!!... |

It's obvious many of us are pained, but that do not mean we should ignore the positive parts of the Match. When you check the Stats - there are so many positive things to grab from it! The Team is improving, we just need to be patient, very soon we would be the one holding Parties and throwing Banters on the other Threads!

Oasis007: Honestly, we aren't improving bro and our inability to overcome Burnley just proves that....The Stats are meant to be like that in a game like ManUtd vs Burnley except that there are no goals in this one and that's bad........ It's just like watching R.Madrid vs Racing, the Stats are meant to be in Madrid favour, it's not improvement....There's no need to sugarcoat it, they messed up especially Ibra .. What if Burnley scored on just one counterattack what would we say.... |

While it is painful to dominate a game so much and not be able to get a goal,we need to take the positives and support the colours /team. United are a work in progress and I am 100% positive that Jose will get it right in the end. Jose is a proven winner and in the end I believe he will make United winners again. It might not be this season but in the end Jose will get this team winning trophies again. |

GloryIsaac: Are you still pained till now?! LOL! Arsenal, with Eleven Players on the Pitch throughout the Match Duration, could only score this same Club with a Hand of Devil! Chill Dude! LOL! I think you should read the assessment and submission of Gary Neville on the Team's Performance Today! He has learned what it takes to Manage a Team, and he's now fairly analyzing United Players and their individual - collective performances respectively! |

Disappointing finishes from Zlatan Ibrahimović yet again. Some valuable points have been lost to this so he needs to sort his head. Physically he's fit and plays really well, but he needs to calm nerves. A few games out should suffice. Poor substitutions. Terrible referee. Good work from Paul Pogba. |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 10:30pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
ChristineC: It's so unfortunate that Pogba is at the receiving end of the bullsh!t that United display on the Pitch. .. If only Zlatan and the other finishers did their job, Pogbas Stats would have been able to defend him, smh...... The team is clearly letting that guy down, I'm sure he'll be racking up assists if he had chosen Madrid or Barca... |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 10:48pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
Caveatemptor: If we dominated a game this way during the time of Giggs and JS Park, we would run away with at least 4-0. Ibrahimovic lack of finishing and Rashford amateur decision making were the major problem. Rashford is very good, offering pace and quickness, but his final balls are still mostly poor. Final balls are very important, from what we used to have in Giggs, Rooney, Park, etc, we have really crawled backwards. |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 10:52pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
ChristineC: The substitutions were okay, except Mephis De Pay. The moment we went 1 man down, Burnley took over dominace and they were ready to bully us with long balls into our box. Mourinho quickly had to react with Rooney and Fellaini. I thought these two guys exceeded expectations considering the situation. We were able to regain possession with good spread of the ball and pressure. Mephis made us look like we played with 9 men. May be Young should have come in. |

Manchester United, Sunderland and Hull have the highest number of injuries. I didn't even know Martial was injured. |

elampiro: Don't get me wrong bro, I've seen quite a whole lot of stupid memes concerning Pogba despite the fact that it's the team that's messing up and that's why I talked about him....Same with DDG, both are playing extremely well but the team is letting them down.. |

weedtaker: Good that you're not sure... Besides, I remember talking about Matuidi being a replacement if Pogba was not available...... I only felt Mou was trying to secure both the present and the future by buying Pogba and Bailly (And this analysis was after the transfer was made)..... Both have played well though |

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 11:56pm On Oct 29, 2016 |
eph12: I dont agree that there is any chance 95% of our matches from now on will take this shape. We fans are ignoring the obvious. The team is not good enough. We're ignoring a very clear fact facing us because we simply want to hope for the best. The sooner we see this, the better. But feel free to believe we'll finish in the top 4. 2 Likes |

elampiro: Back again with your rubbish talk...Depay came in last 10mins and offered some urgency and pace despite the fact hes one of the slowest niggas in the league. How do you want a maradona performance with depay whom hasnt even had that much minutes to blend with the team and we created our only other clear cut chance after depay came in draggeda defender away from the left and allowed pogba to make a sweet cross which unfortunately your god of Manchester couldnt convert. If you cant say a meaningful word, shut your hands because I dont see you castigating the chance your boyfriend missed from a corner. . Depay did Aight...CASE CLOSED. |
