Used M2 for a year. Rooted it; no complaints.

Bought M3mini afterwards.Used for a year too. Very cheap price. Very good camera. But annoying fast battery drain after 15% problem.

Using something else now. Thanks for the memories Gionee.

M5 mini serves me well, Gionee dey try.

2014 u called it a strong and durable phone, just for two years, what of me that has used my Nokia torch for 8 years now.

P2 purchased in August 2014... Still rocking it and have never spend #1 for maintenance except for charger....

It has to be Gionee M2,bought it as fairly used in 2014,i used it all through my final year in school,still used it during NYSC before I bought Techno L8plus,i now gave it to my sister yesterday,Gionee phone has longer durability than others

M2 for me.. moving on to M5 while i retain my m2 or give out.

The M2 is just so rugged, strong and durable.. can't count the number of times i have picked it from the floor.
Battery life is just so awesome.

My Gionee M2. Bought it in 2014 and I still use it with no issues. The battery is superb amongst other features.

This is not true. I currently use M5 and I bought it when it came out newly. A week after it was bought, some of the functions were not working. Took it back and they told me they would flash a new software in it(a brand new phone)!

After flashing it, it developed different kind of faults. They claim the battery is 6020mah, I also doubt cos I'm not a heavy user but the battery can't take me for 24hrs at full charge.

The phone is always hot, the phone is heavy, the phone slags often.

This M5 I'm using is a total mess.

I am surprised to learn that M5 is giving anyone issues. I bought the phone with a very doubtful mind early this year but believe me, I'm now a die hard fan of Gionee.....so much that I preach the phone to people. I don't know about their other models but M5 and M5 mini are just superb. Maybe you were just unlucky somehow. Ndo....

Nigeria is too such a consumer nation that annoys me.

Can we limit the amount we spend on all these imported products that don't even last and focus on manufacturing them here.

I bought it from FINET IKEJA @ 42K. I have my receipt and box. The engineer there knows and he can't deny it. The 2nd time I went to flash it.......the engineer told me that the former engineers that approved the first batch of M5 have been sacked

I can attest to that. Used this phone for almost a year. Very sleek phone

I have use only one gionee, gionee m2 and that is wat I hav been using now for over 2 years..Love dat fone lyk mad. Took it for repair just once and it was just d charging port that had problem.
