Wow, that's odd. This is the first bad story I'm reading about the M5 series. I'm using one and I have nothing but good stories to tell. My dad had to buy it cos of my testimonies and one of my friends too. It's probably one in a hundred situation you have. Sorry about that anyway.

I bought my. M5 a month after it was released at 42k...

It's just the almost perfect smartphone.... No issues at all

This is not true. I currently use M5 and I bought it when it came out newly. A week after it was bought, some of the functions were not working. Took it back and they told me they would flash a new software in it(a brand new phone)!

After flashing it, it developed different kind of faults. They claim the battery is 6020mah, I also doubt cos I'm not a heavy user but the battery can't take me for 24hrs at full charge.

The phone is always hot, the phone is heavy, the phone slags often.

This M5 I'm using is a total mess.

M5 phone of the year! Waiting patiently for m6plus.. ..... I was a big Infinix fan b4 I skeptically bought M5, I've eventually turned to gionee biggest fan since I bought the phone last year.

Gionee phones are simply d best .... Very durable with Long lasting batteries ..I know of a friend that's been using a gionee phone for years now ...I wish I had one of their products ..

The M2 is just so rugged, strong and durable.. can't count the number of times i have picked it from the floor.

I think the warranty is 13 months or so, and I bought it around Nov last year. So it's still under warranty!

The best they should have done ab initio, was to change the phone to a new one and not flash softwares. They've flashed it twice now and it is messing up.

Like I explained before, the engineer that flashed it told me it's the fault of the engineers that received the 1st batch for reviews and test! They've all bn sacked in Ikeja

Exactly....the phone should've been changed immediately.....My brother once bought a defected tecno phone and it was changed immediately.....No one should EVER bear the brunt of defected phones!.....

There will always be defected phones from companies(@ least one in 2k phones) and any consumer who unfortunately buys a defected one should ensure he/she takes it back immediately(since the warranty is still valid) .....And it's the duty of the outlet to change such phones....

Gionee are known for producing quality and durable phones. However must gionee phones are very durable and have strong batteries and sharp camera.

I enjoyed using Gionee P2, bought it February 2014, lo and behold it is still alive. I passed it on to my liitle cousin. Very strong phone.

I used gionee p2 for more than a year, then gave it to my wife. it is now over two years, I only changed the defective battery when I could have repaired it.
Now, I want their latest phone, gionee S6s but the exchange rate is not smiling N70,000. That phone is a beauty!

gionee p2. bought the phone feb 2013, used it for more than 2 yrs without issue before giving it out and it is still in use. that phone na rock. i plan getting another gionee phone before xmas dnt knw which model yet.

I took it back after a week when I discovered, but they refused to change it for me. Instead they said they would flash a better software. I insisted but they still refused. They can't deny all these at FINET IKEJA. I still remember their faces and I still have my receipt
