Pls who's the god of Manchester?? He's only aspiring to be, he has not proven it yet - but no doubt Ibra is a world class Striker. His hold up play is second to none! He's simply unfortunate in front of Goals at the moment.

Perhaps he should take a place on the Bench in our next Game. He needs to rediscover his goal scoring form, and I trust him to prove the Doubters wrong sooner!

Rooney was pushed around and the quality of those around him helped him to grow a lot. I remember reading somewhere some time ago about Giggs seriously warning CR7 about some habits. Those stuffs helped Kids to grow a lot then. Who is helping Rashford? Ibra that misses chances like it's nothing? Also not everybody must take the same path as Rooney. I even think that's what is affecting Rooney right now. Jack of all, master of none.

The substitutions were okay, except Mephis De Pay. The moment we went 1 man down, Burnley took over dominace and they were ready to bully us with long balls into our box. Mourinho quickly had to react with Rooney and Fellaini. I thought these two guys exceeded expectations considering the situation. We were able to regain possession with good spread of the ball and pressure. Mephis made us look like we played with 9 men. May be Young should have come in.

I don't claim to know more than Jose Mourinho in this field but in my opinion the substitutions were as poor as possible.

If he needed to regain control of the midfield after the red card incident, he had the perfect candidate in Micheal Carrick. Further forward Zlatan Ibrahimović was firing blanks, no need to remove Juan Mata who was having an excellent game. Mouroune Fellaini replacing his height to win high balls near the box is logical and Marcus Rashford moved in the box.

There was no justification introducing Wayne Rooney. The rest were having an A-game. The manager panicked!

We played for 72 minutes without scoring. When we went 10 men, we immediately conceded our dominance. Our DM had been red carded, the only combative midfielder on the day. Our two center backs are not good in the air. Carrick would have been a wrong choice. Fellaini was to combat the threats from long balls. A lot of running needed to be done, and I think Rooney did well going up and down while also helping us to switch play left and right which helped us regain dominance. At the end there was no difference with playing 11 and playing 10. We pressed and created load of chances with 10 men, and our best chance came that period.

As for Burnley dominating around the period of the red card is something called "spur of the moment". Nothing threatening with lumping free-kicks in the box. Just knew you wouldn't take that. Rooney was a top runner in his days. Always there to start the counter and finish it. I believe it has taken a toll on his game. Most times when he's in the midfield his passes are always diagonal. Long passes to the wing but we saying let's see if there's someone that can make direct passes. Rooney used to be a handful for any defence but right now Rashford with no experience and all will create more problems any day. Rooney is undoubtedly a legend. I wouldn't blame him for any of our poor performances or loss. The wise thing to do any day is to leave when the ovation is the loudest. And I hope CR7 knows this too. Players like these that have given everything don't deserve to be remembered by the negatives and coaches trying to ease them out of the team.
