House/Gurus I greet you all. My question is, is there a way to increase your chances of getting a Job offer in EE pool. No body seems to talk about job offers here.
People rarely talk about job offers because, getting job from outside Canada, with their LMIA scheme, is like taking a camel through the hole of a needle. Jobs may be arranged for you over there, but it won't fetch you any extra points except it is backed by the LMIA report. But again, there is nothing God cannot do. It's possible but difficult.

Okay. I tried the CRS tool my total was 416
If I score the following in IELTS S =7.5-9 , L=8.5-9 , R=8.0-9 , W=7.5-9. But adding nomination from Province gives me extra 600 increasing my total to 1016.

MPNP under the Expression of Interest System – Draw #22 –

October 28, 2016

**The October 28, 2016 draw for Skilled Worker Overseas included only those were who directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative**

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 150

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 654

Skilled Workers Overseas

Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 26 who were invited directly by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 712

PLEASE NOTE:

For reasons which could include a large existing inventory of un-assessed applications; low labour market-demand; and/or significant barriers to labour market participation, Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas in the following occupations have not been considered in this draw, unless they were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative:
Registered Nurses
Secondary and Elementary School Teachers
Vocational and College Instructors
University Professors
General and Specialist Physicians
If your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate, but you have not received an Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:
You have indicated that you have taken an approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid
You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number
Please note that for each question in EOI, help text is available, providing detailed information on the information you should enter. If one of these scenarios applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the correct information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool.

Candidates who indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw. However, the MPNP may not accept or may refuse full applications from those candidates who are not actually working in a regulated occupation and/or fail to provide proof of having undergone all necessary licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba. If this applies to you, you may wish to consider declining your Letter of Advice to Apply.

Please people let's help a brother that's in a fix

Hi All,
I need small clarification. My score is 475 and I received ITA in the last draw. I got these points as an unmarried. I am getting married next week and I am confused on how to proceed.

Option 1:
Should I continue my application as a single applicant and apply for dependent visa once my PR is issued? Is it still valid?

Option2:
Should I include my spouse's details before applying for the PR? In that case, does she needs to take IELTS and get her transcripts verified? This is not at all feasible in 2 months time.

Pls advise.

I will suggest that you consider other provinces-Manitoba is just one of them and the major way to earn enough marks to being qualified for Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) is to have a close relative in the province.

Do more research on other provinces such as Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, etc. Who knows, one or more may have need for your occupation. What is your occupation?

please just ignore your wife for now. a friend of mine got ita, got married and included his wife. His score dropped because of this and he didn't meet up with the old score. he was refused after 6 months and lost his money. don't try it. find attached the letter that was sent to him.

My advise is you bring her in some other way like student visa or something else. you will lose you ITA if you do it! DON'T DO IT!!

Hi all,

Please for people that have applied for the SINP before -> what are we expected to see on our profile(new applicants) when EE stream opens up? Will there be a submit button where we can click on to submit or what? 'Cos currently there is no no option for submission. So I just want to know what to expect so as to be ready and not caught unawares. Thanks.

Hi All,

When is it safe to assume my WES Evaluation letter has been lost in the mail. I used standard delivery. I applied the same time as my husband in July. His report was sent out on 4th August and it got to the mail box on 12th August (standard delivery). Mine was sent out on 18th August and I am yet to receive it (same standard mail, same delivery address- P.O.Box). Do I just assume it is missing and request another or do I still give it some time and till when? Thanks.

PS - Delivery address is 9ja Post Office Box.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by vcole: 10:28am On Oct 31, 2016
I do not quite agree with your reason for advising him against adding a spouse. As the letter clearly states, it was not because he included a spouse that he failed to meet requirements. He failed to meet requirements because after adding a spouse his CRS no longer met the points for which he was sent an ITA.
So, the advise should be that the intended applicant should re calculate his crs with his spouse included. This would mean having her degree evaluated and her ielts done. If with the addition of a spouse and claiming points for her education and language test, his crs still meets the minimum crs for the draw in which he received an ITA, then he shouldn't have a problem. A letter of explanation clearly stating his change of marital status should suffice.
If he no longer meets the minimum crs after the addition of a spouse then he should decline the ITA.

yes vcole you are right. I looked at the situation. the lowest score is 475 and he had 475. adding a spouse will definitely not make him qualify. I also don't think he should decline the ITA. he might not get another one. I would suggest he goes ahead with the invitation. He can get his PR card and file for the spouse or let her get into the express entry too. My friend in question has since gotten back into the pool with his spouse and his new score is 425. i am not sure he can make any ITA again. maybe going through the route of filing might be a better option. MAYBE.

Here is the pointer: the date he submits his complete PR application and the date he gets married.

If he submits his application AFTER getting married (considering the fact that he got an ITA before getting married), he may likely be denied. Since we don't want him to lose his ITA, i have already suggested that he submit his application BEFORE getting married, then AFTER marriage he can inform CIC that his status has changed (this time AFTER submitting his application).

Friends of mine have done it and no problem because the dates are different (submitted PR application and status change).

This I also believe is the way to go. This also affords him the opportunity to get his wife's credentials evaluated and also have the wife take IELTS to boost the score.

I believe the case of the man that was denied in the letter shown above is different as it seems the man was married and had a child even before getting the ITA.

I believe overall the most important thing that the system tries to checkmate is sincerity.

So get the process rolling and deal the issues as they come. The good thing is once you get the processing rolling if you send your situation as an inquiry to CIC you will get prompt and honest feedback.

Hi experienced friends,

Pls has anyone in the house received Provincial Nomination Certificate from SINP in the past or knows how it works? Learnt it's not connected to EE pool and only require CLB4. With the certificate, individuals may then submit an application for permanent residence to the federal government. Pls can someone expantiate how this works because my profession is civil engineering. Thanks in advance.
