Gionee M5, this phone is near perfection I give it 95/100. Very strong battery sharp selfie and camera. The way I use my zaza remote to off TV at football viewing centres when my team is losing is awesome and nobody knows especially if money no hungry me pay. All in all, I use it to charge other phones too

I feel your pain bro, Finet is just a partner, I suggest you harass Gionee itself online. They have IG, FB and Twitter handles you can reach them on. Considering the competition /turbulence in 9ja phone market I'm sure they will respond to your harassment. It's your money, you deserves value when u exchange it for goods.

I used gionee e3 for a year plus without encountering any problem before it was stolen subsequently gionee splus came to my mind as a lesser earner it took me 6month before i could gathered the money.now the phone is out of stock in most stores i visited in ondo state.anyone to help in this regard?

Honestly you should not have allowed them flash it. You bought a new phone with warranty so why allow them flash it ?

I am a faithful Gionee customer , was using m5 plus then went back to slot Ikeja to buy the m6 full months ago . till date no single issue

I bought it from FINET IKEJA @ 42K. I have my receipt and box. The engineer there knows and he can't deny it. The 2nd time I went to flash it.......the engineer told me that the former engineers that approved the first batch of M5 have been sacked. I'm too old to come and lie

Gionee are known for producing quality and durable phones. However must gionee phones are very durable and have strong batteries and sharp camera.

I enjoyed using Gionee P2, bought it February 2014, lo and behold it is still alive. I passed it on to my liitle cousin. Very strong phone.

Gionee engineers advised that I allow them flash it since they can't give me a new one. I had no better option cos the phone was misbehaving

I don't think m5 mini has infrared....BUT, if it does, then, you can maybe download a remote app from playstore.....

NB: it can only work on infrared enabled phones......

I still stand on my point . inasmuch as you know you bought it new and still have warranty you SHOULDN'T have allow they flash it , flashing it either by them or any engineer will void the warranty so why allow them?

You should have left the phone with them for immediate replacement and contacting Gionee directly

Maybe there are other vital information you are not letting us know.

We are all educated, so why allow an engineer void your warranty?

I've done all you suggested up there and they ignored me! because I'm a nobody I guess. Maybe if I had a lawyer brother or sister or even a lawyer friend, I'm sure they would have changed it when he/she quotes section bla bla bla to them!
