A Kogi state Senator Salihu Ohize has been confirmed dead according to a close family source. Otaru Salihu Ohize (born 5 February 1953) was elected Senator for the Kogi Central constituency of Kogi State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007. He is a member of the Action Congress (AC).

I hope one of these days, our leaders would come to the understanding that we will all die perhaps, it would help them remember they are elected to make things better and not to loot the national treasury.

The painful part about this life is, it is appointed for us to all die...another saddening thing is, it doesn't inform. You'll see a very sick man survive, and a healthy man die, the best thing is to live every moment prepared to die.
