I obviously saw the same news same day or rather a day after the list was released.... I just ignored because I know their way. They love to counter news of other sites.

They are anti-reporters.... Loollll

I only take news of players performance monitored and a few aspects of their news reporting serious.

But when it comes to certain news matters like the 24-man list and news involving our coaches or players controversies and a few more, I JUST SHUN THEM. ANS na wa sef... Always spoiling for a fight and looking to serve as spoilsport news reporters. Nonsense!!!

Good.

I no wan see that green jersey with white stripe again.

We should have our designer if not Nike will just print out something basic and ship. I can't wait till we get out of this contract, Nike treats some high school teams better than Nigeria and we are not even making money of this so it's a basic high school contract we give u sets of jerseys, warm ups and nothing else.

WOLVES KNOW TODAY HOW LONG NIGERIA
GOALKEEPER IKEME WILL BE OUT

Carl Ikeme

English Championship side Wolverhampton
Wanderers will know today the extent of a hip
injury suffered by Nigeria goalkeeper Carl Ikeme
at the weekend.

Ikeme was forced out in the second half of a 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

This is not a good omen for Nigeria ahead of next month’s World Cup qualifier against Algeria as Ikeme is the Super Eagles No.1 choice in goal.

Wolves interim coach Rob Edwards said he is yet to ascertain the extent of the injury.

“Carl was struggling around his hip area which I
think came after he stretched to make a save,”
said the coach.

“He was having it iced at half time and I don’t
know the extent of the problem.

“Hopefully, he won’t be out for too long because he is very important for us.”

Wow no wonder Rohr wants Enyeama in the squad badly, even if he sits on the bench. This Carl ikeme's injury(God forbid bad tin) coupled with Echiejile at left back are my major worries for this upcoming tie.

REVEALED: The New Camp Rules Rohr Has
Put In Place For Super Eagles Players Ahead Algeria Test

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to ensure Nigeria pick all three points in their next World Cup 2018 qualifiers against Algeria in Uyo.

The German disciplinarian has to that effect
introduced new camp rules, which he discussed
with captain of the team John Obi Mikel when
they met in London last week.

The rules were introduced to keep the players
focus ahead of the game, as Rohr has not been
comfortable with the conduct of some players in
the build up to the games against Tanzania and
Zambia.

Rohr’s first rule is the instituting of a deadline for the arrival of players, as no player who arrive after the 7th of November will be admitted in camp.

The move is to checkmate the excesses of players who will arrive Nigeria early but drive to camp few days to the game, with excuses about flight connections or family problems.

Also from now henceforth players will not be
allowed to keep their personal car in the premises of the hotel where the team are camped, no thanks to the furore Ahmed Musa caused when he arrived camp for the Zambia clash in a flashy car.

Friends and family members will also not get
access to the players unlike before, until after the game, a situation the manager frowned at when he noticed it’s like a tradition for friends to visit the players or even live in same hotel with them before games.

Very good disciplinary rules, and I hope it will be swiftly implemented. The skipper Mikel should lead with examples so that others can follow. Some many things we consider as norms are not apt.

Nigeria U23 Ace Junior Ajayi Opens Account
For The Red Devils

Junior Ajayi grabbed his first goal in an Al Ahly shirt as the African powerhouse settled for a point in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club in the Egyptian Premier
League on Sunday.

Before the fixture at Petrosport Stadium (Kattameya), the Nigeria U23 international had played three games against Wadi Degla, Aswan and Petrojet without finding the back of the net.

With the visitors trailing 2-1, Ajayi restored parity in the 69th minute when he volleyed home from inside the box after he was fed by a teammate.

The 21-year-old accumulated 188 minutes of
playing time before opening his account for the
Red Devils.

Junior Ajayi committed his future to Al Ahly in the summer by appending his signature to a four-year contract.

ANTONIO CONTE HAILS MOSES' DEFENSIVE
STRENGTH

Antonio Conte has lauded Victor Moses’ defensive potency after Chelsea’s 2-0 English Premier League win over Southampton on Sunday.

The Blues moved into top four in the table with
their seventh win of the season, which came
courtesy strikes from Eden Hazard and Diego

The Stamford Bridge giants have now kept four

Moses is doing defensively as a wing-back.
He praises Marcos Alonso too. #CFC

“This role is very important in this system. You
must have good stamina and quality to play as
wing-backs,” Conte said in a post-match
conference.

“I ask my wing-backs to do offensive and
defensive work. Moses is a great surprise in this
aspect.

“We know Moses as a winger, but he’s playing in a fantastic way. Also Alonso, it wasn’t easy to go in to the English league and play in this way, and I’m pleased.

“In this role, Pedro also can play, in the same way as Moses. Ivanovic or Aina can play a more defensive role as wing-back"

Group to Invest U.S.$1.5 Billion in Nigerian League

A UK-based sports Promo/marketing company,
Arabella 21st Century is to invest a staggering $
1.5b in the Nigerian league.

Minister of youth and sports, Barrister Solomon
Dalung, who disclosed this when he received the CEO/President of the company, Otunba Femmy Carrena, explained that the investors want to manage the Nigerian league for the next twenty years.

According to Dalung, during this period, the
Nigerian counterparts are expected to invest 30% of the $1.5b.

"They want to bring in about $1.5b into Nigerian football but there is a caveat to it. They are not going to tamper with the constitution, statutes or football article. It is the same thing they did in China and Japan. The league board will operate with the NFF and the Ministry will be involved.

They want to set up a Football Development
Company that will be quoted on the stock
exchange and same will apply to all the football
clubs in Nigeria."

Carrena also hinted that like any other investor,
they will like to make money.

"They want to come to Nigeria and manage our
league for the next twenty years. After a meeting with the ministry and other stakeholders, they'll set up the company but their Nigerian counterparts are expected to invest 30% of the $1.5b. They're ready to put their own money into the stock exchange but they'll have the controlling share".

Carrena stated that after this process, there will
be a football conference in the country to let the
various clubs know what to expect. They will give them subvention, put the various stadia to use but it will not be a government appointed board.

The CEO said that it will be a board that will be
appointed by the people who buy into the clubs.

"They will restructure the league, get the
television rights but not before a conference
which will explain to everyone how it will work.
They will be coming with technical experts from
the premiership who will be operating in the
development company that they will set up which include representatives of the ministry, the LMC and the NFF.

Carrena said that the National teams will also
benefit in terms of training and subventions while talks are already in progress with the
Confederation of African Football (CAF).

ROHR SEEKS DEFENSIVE SOLUTIONS WITH
LATEST SUPER EAGLES CALL-UPS

The German has professed worry over the Nigeria defence, and his team list for Algeria in Uyo shows a willingness to address it

COMMENT By Solace Chukwu

October’s win over Zambia was broadly a game of two halves. In the first, Nigeria dominated
possession and slowly impressed upon
proceedings, scoring twice to decide the result.

The second saw the pendulum swing in favour of the hosts, and the Super Eagles defence bended ominously, albeit without breaking irreparably.

It was clear then what area of the team Gernot
Rohr needed to have a look at, and his team list
for the November 12 engagement with Algeria
features two interesting new call-ups: Tyronne
Ebuehi and John Ogu .

Ogu has of course been excellent at the back of
the midfield over the last twelve months with
Israeli champions Hapoel Be’er Sheva, and has
more than earned his place. It is sad, however,
that it appears to have come at the expense of
Gent midfielder Anderson Esiti, who misses out.

A consideration of Ogu's strengths and Algeria’s
weakness reveals there is method to the decision.

Les Fennecs' lack of vertical compactness cost
them severely against Cameroon, as their
unfamiliarity with Milovan Rajevac’s approach saw them adopt an uneven pressing structure. The Serb’s resignation only makes things worse, as new manager Georges Leekens have even less time to get his ideas across.

Ogu’s passing range is therefore perfect for
exploiting the gaps between the lines that will
invariably appear. His ability to move the ball on
quickly and cleanly through spaces contrasts with Ogenyi Onazi’s more considered approach, and is an interesting option to have. He also boasts greater positional discipline than the Trabzonspor man, which will be crucial against Algeria's legion of attacking midfield talent.

Ebuehi’s inclusion on the other hand is with a
view to solving a long-term positional problem at
right-back. The 20-year-old ADO Den Haag
defender is likely a beneficiary of Moses Odubajo’s unfortunate injury relapse, but represents another important move in the regeneration of the national team.

Were he to start at right-back, the Super Eagles
could realistically line up a starting 11 with five
players aged 23 and under.

It would be a huge leap of faith to throw the
youngster straight into the mix against the might of Algeria though-he does have barely over 20 senior club appearances under his belt, after all.

However, it seems a bit of a toss-up who will get
the nod in Uyo: Musa Mohammed has again been called up in spite of a lack of playing time at club level, which is puzzling, while Rohr does not seem sold on the idea of the versatile Shehu Abdullahi reprising the role he excelled in at the Olympics in the summer.

As expected, Odion Ighalo and Victor Moses make a return, having been unavailable in Ndola for contrasting reasons.

However, it cannot have escaped their notice
(and Rohr’s) that the team’s attacking play was
markedly more cohesive without them, and so
they come back into the fold with a point to
prove. Moses has at least blossomed since his last outing against Tanzania, in which his anarchic, wasteful display made heavy work of an ambitionless Taifa Stars. He seems primed to take Moses Simon’s place on the right.

Ighalo, on the other hand, has struggled to hit
last season’s heights, and has found the back of
the net only once for Watford this season.

Indeed, he lost his place briefly to now-injured compatriot Success Isaac, and seems stuck in a bit of a rut.

Perhaps the implicit vote of confidence will do him some good. However, it would be a brave call to leave out Brown Ideye who, while seemingly lacking the Watford man’s sheer quality, simply makes this team play better.

This, as well as who starts at right-back, are the
two tough decisions for Rohr to make.

So far, the German has sought to stay away from the internal politics of the squad, but he faces his biggest call to date as Super Eagles manager.

However, it is heartening to see him move
decisively to address perceived weaknesses - in a World Cup qualifying group as difficult as
Nigeria’s, the margins are incredibly fine, and a
willingness to try new things may prove the
difference.

Enyeama isn't going to sit on the bench in a thousand years, He is better than Ikeme and quite frankly, if he comes back he will take his captain band back from whoever is shielding it right now, Ikeme will be a nice backup sha
What has captainship got to do with Enyeama recalling,i bet it with u that Enyeama w find it hard to displace a fit ikeme talkless of captain band.

Why is no one talking about Ahmed Musa? I know that we have good players like V.Moses and M.Simon who can also play in his position but his apace dribbles, ability to cut inside the box and so on can be very useful against the Algerians. He is a fearless/intrepid player that can score and perform well even against the toughest and impenetrable defense in the world. He is a player that gets going even when it is getting tough. The sturdy Argentine defense conceded two fantabulous goals from him in the erstwhile world cup, we saw how it was almost unfeasible for other teams/players to score against Argentina in that world cup.

And also, his recent laudable club form depicts that he deserves to start or feature as a second half substitute.

AllNigeriaSoccer is a dubious website. Its 'exclusive' is almost always untrue. The owner of that site is always looking to have a fight with other sports site. Unless confirmed by other sites, don't take any news from that site serious.
