We cannot emphasize enough the importance of hanging out with other women who are doing what you’re doing. Swaddling, nursing, trying out bottles, using front carriers, swings – these are some of the things you’ll discuss. But there are also the sensitive issues of body image, careers, and relationships.

Please be sensitive when you visit her! The grief of losing a baby even if caused by avoidable mistakes is much ! Don't lecture her now I'm sure she too now knows better

It is well. It's too bad even enlightened people succumb to pressure to go the unorthodox route sometimes! Even if pressured by hubby we women just must be wise when it comes to our health and baby's welfare!

where i work presently d pay is too low but had to take it coz it was my only option of aving a job after searching tirelessly.i av bin a staff for a year now and doing well in my duties.recently i got an interview invite to a bigger organisation which av initially applied to and neva tout they would call me.

i av attended the interview nd with God on my side i pray am called coz based on my performance in the written test the maths was a no go area for me coz i couldnt attempt any question but i cleared d english aspect well.

my present boss just increased salary by 10% effective nxt month salary.

incase the other organization calls me to resume, plz hw do i leave my present job peacefully witout upseting my boss.

NB; i am more like her secretary/PA

I handle major duties at work nd my leaving will surely make tins difficult for my boss cos its too sudden.

Ask the new organization to give you at least a month before resuming duties.

Then depending on your relationship with your boss, send a friendly and respectful mail informing her that you wish to terminate your job in a month's time.

That notice should be enough for her to find a suitable person to replace you and train him/her in your duties before you leave. Leaving without adequate notice sometimes doesn't end well.

i didnt give d new organisation d impression dat i am working coz d administrator asked me so i dnt blow up my chances of being taken coz i was d only one called for interview.

Pls all mamas I need candid advice. I see u all as a family can't pick up my phone without breezing in here.
What would u do if u were in my shoes.
My younger attended my aunt's Hubby's burial from Owerri to Osun state. Now she informed me that she is coming to Lagos with my cousin and would stay at my aunt's place. I know she would want to come to my place and for now, no one knows am preggy. Her lifestyle isn't straight forward when it comes to men she is 23. As the eldest, I have talked tire. I don't even trust any of my siblings at all that is how bad it is. I heard a lot she said about me getting married. One of them is that I should have waited and to help train my siblings bf getting married. I married at 25 ooo and now my last girl and niece stays with me. I won't want her to come to my place, she is an adventurous person always looking for where to go. Help me abeg what do I come up with?

I don't know wat to tell u honestly, bcs I don't want u to lie, tho u don't like d fact that she's will come to lag but u can't stop her from coming into Lagos, but what I fink u should do is to monitor her movement, know when she's coming in...den if possible call her or ur aunt to be sure shes has gotten to Lagos, find out how long she will be staying either from her or ur aunt, den u can use style to find out if she intends coming to ur house...

OK so let me explain how I came to be in Feb n March...

I first went to see a gynae when I was 7 weeks pregnant, so with my LMP of 24th May, he did a mental calculation and told me my EDD would be 3rd March (which made me happy due to reasons I will explain in future).

But some days ago, out of curiosity I picked a calender and counted 40 weeks from May 24 and it landed on Feb 28. That was when I started saying I've ported to February grin. Scan even gave me Feb 24.

But I would still like to be March acting Cappo sha.... that is if March mamas don't mind, pending when Babyadorable shows up.

Personally,I don't mind oo, so far u have been doing it for us, plz continue..

@realtalk, hmm I fink u should pray about it, switching jobs ain't easy, u don't know how much this new organisation is going to pay u, And how u will be treated dre or how much work u will be doing, I don't advice u just leave ur old working place without letting dem know because of reference sake....ask God to direct u, pray about it before making any decision...

I wish I can just travel Out and care for my baby myself. The people that surround me are too crude for me. My immediate sis and mom just left my Place and the way they are both taking care of her 4month old saddens my heart. Weneva I try to correct them they justy laugh as of I dnt knw what I'm saying. My mil too is the same.

The baby as boil on her face, they said its cause she's teething. Imagine my sis is giving the baby biscuit with adult milk. She even mix skineal with ori as body cream.
The way the baby drinks water eeeennn! Then they wore one bracelet for her claiming that its a traditional way of reducing teething. I just can't cope with all this. how many people will I fight?

thanks o all mamas for all the anwers i didnt receive. i understand today is monday and most of us are busy with work. so....being a ftm i didnt knw the difference btw my lo's movement and contactions, i had contractions all tru the night, the pressure in my pelvic region was hellish, i cudnt stand up straight, when i lie down no relief i jst kept having this continuos contractions.
how is ur health now pls update us as soon as u are fit. d lord is ur strength
