I used Melina and the woodwork take 4 days though they were a bit slow because it supposed to be 2 days and the aluminium take just a day, about 6 hours. ijeshaboy: 1 Like |

FreeWorld23: Hi bro, something I would like to know, how does moulding the blocks at ur site cut cost, and can you kindly give an approximate cost of what might take it to roofing level, you think 600k would get there?? |
Re: My 3 Bedroom Bungalow Project by FreeWorld23: 10:02pm On Nov 01, 2016 |
samintegrity:moulding of blocks is alws the best if you have time or someone to monitor it for you. Tho some ppl mould bad blocks for example, moulding 45-50 blocks of "6" per bag. 40 blocks per bag is the maximum for "6". If you are buying 4000 blocks I.e 4000 x 130 = 520k If you mould, that 520k will mould u more than 5000 blocks and it will b stronger than the one u will buy cos most block they sell aren't strong. Your 600k depends on your structure. What's your structure like? |

Re: My 3 Bedroom Bungalow Project by samintegrity(m): 10:10pm On Nov 01, 2016 |
Buh I fear that amount might not get there oo.. Since over 500k already gone on blog, no cement yet, no workmanship..taaa..the Lord is our strength oo.. Am just trying to nail the target to kick start... If that can't then 700k?? Or better still how much got yours to roofing level?? |
Re: My 3 Bedroom Bungalow Project by FreeWorld23: 11:21pm On Nov 01, 2016 |
samintegrity:600k won't get it done to roofing level. Foundation alone will take half of the money |
Re: My 3 Bedroom Bungalow Project by Hclinton: 12:24am On Nov 02, 2016 |
Foundation alone with DPC is in the range of #750K. This price includes pegging, digging, layout, setting, cement cost, sand, granite, Workmanship and some other cost. FreeWorld23: |

Re: My 3 Bedroom Bungalow Project by Hclinton: 10:34am On Nov 03, 2016 |
Thanks a lot, I will quickly answer some of the questions now and possibly give you a details cost breakdown when I am with my project book later. 1. The foundation type is strip foundation because it's a very dry and strong land. 2. Dimension of the whole land is 725sqm while is developed area is just 117sqm. 3. We didn't use columns as it's just a bungalow and in the out-wall perimeter, we use 9" blocks round the house. With this no need for columns. 4. Since the fence is only about 6 coaches, we used 1,100 blocks. 5. For the cost breakdown, I will give you that later when am with the cost breakdown book. Once again, thanks alot. davodyguy: 1 Like |
