The TRUE Meanings Of The Visions In The Book Of Revelation EXPLAINED!!! by MrMystrO(m): 7:40am On Nov 02, 2016
The Book of Revelation was written by a man named John (possibly John the Apostle) toward the end of his life. John records a vision he experiences, probably while dreaming or meditating. This vision contains a tremendous amount of symbolism; the same kind of symbolism one would see in a dream, a vision of the spirit world. In fact, the Book of Revelation contains the same symbolism found in the symbols in the Prophet Daniel's dream. All Biblical dreams, such as those of Joseph, Gideon, Daniel, Paul, and Peter, are very symbolic and therefore had a hidden spiritual meaning rather than a literal interpretation of the symbols. Such is the case with the Book of Revelation

Only clairvoyants. i.e An enlightened soul which has gone through All or Almost all its earthly incarnation process(Like Jesus Mohamed, Buddha Krishna Zoroaster and even many more recent souls who have achieved this state) Can See through the veils of such symbolism superconsciously or spiritually, and Can thereby Give literally meanings to such symbolism.

One of such more recent clairvoyant was a 20th century clairvoyant named edgar cayce, Who possessed a highly enlightened soul which could access the superconscious mind and gain access to even the deepest depths of knowledge Not Known to Humanity. He Could always give prophecies about historic events which came to pass, Even prophesied about the day and manner of his own death, and even almost a century after his death, His prophecies are still coming to pass. Cayce was also was Given the opportunity to understand the meanings of the symbolic representations of the Bible in which the True meanings behind them don't come naturally to humans, and the book of revelation in particular, thereby translating the symbolic representations john Saw in his visions to literal meanings and Explanation. Bellow are the Literal interpretations of the symbolic messages in the Book of Revelation.

First of All, Before you understand how These messages are conveyed, you have to understand the true nature between humanity and God. Cayce revealed that humans actually have three different dimensions of human awareness: the conscious mind (personality, the subconscious mind (soul) and the superconscious mind (spirit). An important goal in everyone's life is to awaken our superconscious mind to attain what Cayce called at-one-ment with God.

The superconscious mind is called by many names by many religions in many different cultures. Some of these names are: Buddha consciousness, Christ consciousness, the Collective Mind, the Universal Mind, the Collective Unconsciousness, the Holy Spirit, Brahman, God, the Clear White Light, Allah, Higher Self, the Mind of Christ, etc.

Cayce's references to the Christ, the Christ consciousness and the Mind of Christ has little to do with the personality known as Jesus. He revealed that Jesus became the Christ - a full manifestation of the Christ consciousness - the perfect union of the human with the divine. It is God's desire for all of humanity to become Christs (or Buddhas if you live in the East). Such a condition will truly bring the Kingdom of God to the Earth. He also revealed that the Book of Revelation is the symbolic story of how humanity in general (and a human in particular) attains this manifestation of the divine.

What follows is a very brief summary of the information he received.

Chapters 1-3: Letters to the Churches

Symbolic representation: John, on the island of Patmos, explains that he was in the Spirit when Christ appears to him standing in the midst of seven candlesticks. Christ then tells John to write down what he sees and hears concerning seven churches.

Literal Interpretation: While in meditation, John's conscious mind becomes open to his subconscious mind and his superconscious mind. The seven churches and the seven seals represent the seven spiritual centers (i.e., chakras) of the body where the physical, mental and spiritual forces all come together. The superconscious mind within John, tells him that anyone who can regain control of these spiritual centers within their bodies can access the superconscious mind and never need to reincarnate again (Revelation 3:12). Here is a table of the symbols:

Church - Gland - Seal

Ephesus - Gonads - 1

Smyrna - Ayden - 2

Pergamos - Adrenals - 3

Thyatira - Thymus - 4

Sardis - Thyroid - 5

Philadelphia - Pineal - 6

Laodicea - Pituitary - 7

Chapter 4-11: Christ Opens the Seals of the Book in Heaven

Symbolic representation: John now appears at the throne of God and sees four beasts and twenty-four elders around it. On the throne sits God who has a book with seven seals. John weeps when he learns that no one can open the seals to the book. One of the elders tells John that Christ is able to open the seals. Christ then opens the seals, resulting in many Earth changes. The seventh seal unleashes seven angels who sound seven trumpets which are sounded one by one.

Literal Interpretation: John has a mental awakening when he attains the spiritual level of the superconscious mind, within the throne of his own body. The four beasts are his four lower spiritual center's animalistic desires and the twenty-four elders are the twenty-four nerves from his brain leading to his five senses. The superconscious mind, is now in full control of John's body. The body is symbolized as a book with seven seals which "no one has the ability to open on his own" (Revelation 5:3). Only through the development of the superconscious mind within a person, can these spiritual centers within the body be opened (i.e., spiritually activated).

As each spiritual center within the body is activated, different parts of the body are purified and upheavals of the body occur mentally, physically, and spiritually. The superconscious mind spiritually activates the seventh spiritual center (the Pituitary, the master gland of the body). As a result of this, it becomes "quiet in heaven for one half hour" (Revelation 8:1). This is symbolic of the perfect control of the mind for one half hour through meditation. The following are some of the symbols of Revelation interpreted by Cayce:

Symbol - Meaning

Paradise of God - The original consciousness of humanity before its fall into flesh

Tree of Life - The spiritual centers of the body, such as the heart and the pituitary, that becomes perfectly synchronized

Angel of the Church - The intelligent force governing a spiritual center within the body

Satan - The force of self-centeredness, self-gratification, self-indulgence, self-importance, self-righteousness, self-consciousness, self-glorification, self-delusion, self-condemnation, self, ego, the "false god," the "beast"

Book of Life - The collective unconscious record (memory) of all souls

Earth - The physical body

Mountain of fire striking the Earth - The forces within the physical body which are constantly warring within

New Jerusalem - The superconscious mind awakened

unclothedness - The exposure of faults

Seven lamps - The wisdom of the seven spiritual centers within the body

Chapter 12-14: A Woman, a Dragon, Two Beasts, and a Lamb

Symbolic representation: John sees a woman with twelve stars about to bear a child. Next to the woman is a dragon that is ready to devour the child she is giving birth to. After the child is born, the child is taken to the throne of God. Afterward, a war in heaven occurs and the devil and his angels are cast out of heaven to Earth. John also sees a beast rise out of the sea which the world worships. John then sees a lamb on the Earth and angels proclaiming the fall of Babylon.

Literal Interpretation: John is shown a picture of the soul of humanity in its development since the days of eternity. The woman symbolizes the soul of humanity crowned with twelve stars, the twelve basic patterns of human personality as described in the zodiac. The child she bears is the conscious mind. As the conscious mind is born, a rival force of the self occurs, which brings about recurring periods of rebellion in humanity. Through divine intervention, the conscious mind is protected while the unconscious mind, from which it sprung, is withdrawn below the conscious level. This is the same story as symbolized as the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Rebellion from the physical brings conflict into the soul but the soul can remain above it by remaining concealed from the forces of self will.

The "beast rising out of the sea" is the selfish animalistic desires that arise which are capable of ruling humanity. These desires spring from the self-will of the unspiritual intellect of humanity whom the world worships as a symbol of material success. The human intellect, lacking spiritual orientation, cuts itself off from all that is divine. The lamb that John sees are the forces of the superconscious mind in the world going into action. "Babylon," the human desire for earthly riches and success in the gratification of the flesh, begins to be destroyed as humans are shown the consequences of their prostitution of their higher faculties.

Symbol - Meaning

Seven candlesticks, seven spirits - Perfection, the divine number

Six - Imperfection, the number for humanity

Mark of the beast - The unevolved animalistic force within humans

Mark of the lamb - The evolved divine force within humans

666 - The unevolved animalistic force affecting the triune nature of humans(body, mind, spirit)

Chapter 15-18: Seven Angels, Seven Vials of Seven Plagues, and a Prostitute Riding a Seven-Headed Beast

Symbolic representation: John is shown seven angels each of whom holds a vial containing a plague which they pour upon the Earth one at a time. John then sees a woman sitting on a seven-headed beast with ten horns. The woman wears on her forehead the name Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth. John is told the seven heads symbolize the seven mountains on which the woman sits and the ten horns symbolize ten kings. These make war against the lamb and the lamb conquers.

Literal Interpretation: John is seeing within the soul of humanity, the collective unconscious, that the souls of individuals are purified and tested on seven levels of consciousness symbolized by the seven plagues being poured out by the seven angels. When all seven levels of consciousness have been purified, then and only then can a person control the physical, mental, and spiritual forces within his body.

Physical diseases arise from the misuse of the forces and self-gratification of the flesh, wars against universal truth. This brings about conflict in the world against groups and governments. The end of the seven ordeals comes when humanity's social institutions and concepts collapse, leaving universal truth to be realized.

The Prostitute of Babylon symbolizes humanity's desire lust for riches and gratification of the flesh. The beast it rides on are man-made ideas stemming from self-gratification. It is explained to John that these forces have taken control of the seven spiritual centers of the human body, thereby becoming possessed and ruled. However, as the highest forces of evolving humanity overcome the forces of self, even the ten basic urges of the body, symbolized by the ten horns, will in time fulfill the divine pattern. As the divine nature in humanity becomes less realized, society is destroyed by its own hand through self-gratification.

Symbol - Meaning

Seven plagues - The purification and tribulation experienced by souls in order to overcome negative karma

Vials of God's wrath - Karma, eye for an eye, sowing and reaping, the consequences of our negative acts

Armageddon - The spiritual conflict within humans

False prophet - Self-delusion

Chapter 19-22: Rejoicing in Heaven, the Devil Thrown into a Bottomless Pit, a New Heaven and New Earth

Symbolic representation: John now sees much rejoicing in heaven and the appearance of Christ. An angel casts the devil into a bottomless pit for one thousand years. John then sees a new heaven and a new Earth come into being.

Literal Interpretation: What was the final salvation of the bodily, mental, and spiritual forces described within John, now are shown to take place in collective humanity. When humanity recognizes the divinity within them as the controlling force in the world, and turns away from their own selfish pattern of living for self alone, the old pattern disappears and the Christ pattern emerges.

John is told that the merging of the evolved self with the divine superconscious, which has taken place in John, must also take place in all humanity (Revelation 19:7). The fulfilled pattern of evolved humanity, the Christ (i.e., superconscious mind), is now shown in a position of power (the so-called "second coming of Christ"wink.

Now the archetype of humanity's continual rebellions, the self-willed intellect symbolized as the "devil", is confined for a time in the collective unconscious mind. During this period of one thousand years (the 1000 year reign of Christ), only the evolved souls will be permitted to incarnate the Earth (Revelation 20:4). At the end of this period, the remaining souls begin to incarnate, bringing with them their unsatisfied ambitions and desires. This, of course, brings about the former conditions of imbalance (wars and plagues). These conditions, all man-made, are now themselves eliminated and all mental forms and patterns not formed by divine will are purged (Revelation 20:14).

The "new heaven and new Earth" John sees is humanity's perfected state of consciousness and regenerated body. The human mind at this point is now one with the divine in the perfection of control and is free from outside limitations. The human conscious mind merges with the superconscious mind.

John states that if anyone adds or takes away from this book, that person will experience the plagues in this book. The book is the body, which is the vehicle for human experience in the world. Through it, the lessons of the soul are learned. There can be no shortcuts or meanderings without dire consequences to the body.

Symbol - Meaning

Marriage of the Lamb - The union of the body and mind with the Christ consciousness

Word of God - The Gnostic "logos," the Christ consciousness, the fully evolved pattern for humanity

Lake of Fire - The subconscious mind's area of repression, the "id", The outer Darkness

The first resurrection - The reincarnation of advanced souls to Earth

Gog and Magog - Worldly influences

The dead in judgment - Reincarnating souls

Hell - Remorse, self-condemnation, guilt and frustration

The second death - The destruction of all man-made unevolved conditions

12 tribes of Israel,
12 gates, 12 angels, - The 12 basic patterns of the human personality as revealed in the Zodiac
12 foundations,
12 disciples

Temple of God - The superconscious mind, the Christ consciousness

New Jerusalem - The evolved soul in one-ness with divinity

The conquering of self is truly greater than were one to conquer many worlds. The end time Battles of Armageddon, as it was described symbolically in the bible, is not A physical Battle like many believe it to be, But is one that is Already happening right NOW, which is a spiritual Battle of the Forces of the self, The illusion of individuality, the separation from oneness which is the earth bound entity which we call the devil (Which brings about Evil, Lies, hate, chaos, Delusions, selfcenteredness, selfishness and love for materialistic gains) Against the Forces Of Oneness, The collective Christ consciousness, The universal multidimensional Mind/entity which we call God(which brings about Love, Truth, Goodness, selflessness, Peace and Joy)

This is a war that has already started, and is currently taking place inside the mind and soul of every individual on earth, And it is Mostly an internal war of LIES Against TRUTH in the consciousness of every individual, that is why more and more people today are beginning to question religion itself(Not some of their Evidently TRUE And commonly shared Doctrines such as LOVE, But Most of their Evident Lies such as HELL FIRE) as the highest and most truthful path to spiritual Enlightenment and redemption, It is the forces of this war going on inside each and every one of us that brings about these questions and doubts we are having because our souls are getting more enlightened with the positive forces of our multidimensional consciousness and is beginning to perceive the Lies, flaws and Deception in Religion. And like i will always say, LOVE and TRUTH will always prevail because they were the forces by which the universe were built from, and so remain the most powerful forces ever. Self on the other hand, is an illusion that will fade away in time. The only doctrines of Religion which shall survive this spiritual war are the TRUE Doctrines preached by the clairvoyant men of Old which is LOVE, The Love for fellow man more than the love for self, and the Love of TRUTH, which through it, LOVE Reveals itself. And eventually, ALL human souls here on earth Will conquer this self and the negative forces it brings with it, Achieve Redemption and Enlightenment and become more at one and more in tune with the consciousness of the divine multidimensional Mind called God, Thereby, Building a new world for ourselves.

As usual, I Hope this post was highly informative to you and helped lift the veil many of us have on the idea of the end times or Armageddon.
You can check out my other posts to find out more informative topics or you can ask me directly, anything else you wish to know on this topic or others, and i will be glad to answer your questions. Have a love filled day, And stay Blessed always my Friends.

The Apocalypse of John is essentially a re-hashing of the Syblline Oracular writings. It was considered very un-Christian-like and its admittance to the canons was vehemently opposed.

The Apocalypse of John closely aligns to the fourth chapter of the Sibylline Oracles which is thoroughly eschatological in character, it narrates a sequence of events which include earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, as well as the devastation of many cities in the sea before the destruction of the world by fire and the subsequent general resurrection of the dead.

Similar to the eschatological discourse of Jesus in the Gospels, the Siblylline Oracles which forms a lot of the textual source for the Apocalypse of John based its end-time events in the background context of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in the 1st century AD and the tyrannous reign of Nero (the original beast of Revelation) The oracles foretold that these events would take place in the backdrop of a period of apostasy - the self-same Great Apostasy spoken of in numerous places throughout Christian Scripture which Christians consider they currently endure today.

The Sibyllines were extensively referenced by early church theologians and pagans alike. Curiously, if you look closely enough you will discern an acrostic in the form of a Christian coded phrase in successive first letters of each line: ICHTHUS

Uhhm I have the belief that you are a christian but if you really are, Then u must be just a CHURCH GOER and not a true christian at all because you dont even know the most simple and obvious facts your religion is made of. If you open ANY bible close to you, you find that the book you are actually referring to in the bible is called the Gospel according to john, and if you go to the book of Revelation, You will also see that it was The Revelation According to John or simply, The Revelation to John. The argument about which of the john's actually wrote the book of revelation(either john the apostle or john of patmos) is still being debated till now but it has never been Ever debated that the Name of the writer of the book of revelation was john. This is a sealed and certified fact.

2)The Book of John is it A First, Second or Third person writing?

Your questions do not make much sense as i cannot even understand what message you are trying to convey with them, especially with this one which is so so irrelevant to the Topic i am trying to discuss here. I don't think i am meant to be trying to lock horns with you(which is definitely not even a tiny part of the reason why i am here) about obvious facts as minor as these. If you Have a Real Question that has some importance and is meaningful or contributive to the post i just made here then feel free to ask them or comment. If not, you can go to another thread that deals with such minor religious questions as the one you have, And i am sure you will find the answers you are looking for in one of them and not through an introspective and very extensive topic like this. Have a good day sir.

[/b]

Well i agree with you that they the book of revelation and the Sibylline Oracles( or more properly titled the Pseudo-Sibylline Oracles) share a lot of similarities which is quite obvious in their both apocalyptic nature and the both of them ending in the final judgement of God to man, And as we all know, the bible is a compilation of books put together by the Romans, some of which were Jewish, Greek and mostly pagan in origin. But if you study these two writings very closely, you will find a very good difference in the sequences of events and in the manner which these events are supposed to happen. It is very possible that in the original writings of the Pseudo-Sibylline Oracles, The same message that was being passed to john was the same message that was also being passed to the prophetic priestesses(clairvoyants) back then during the Etruscan and possibly the early Roman Era. But actually These books were destroyed, partially in a fire in 83 B.C.E., and finally burned by order of the Roman General Flavius Stilicho.

So most of the writings on the so called Sibyline oracles are forgeries and vague dubious compositions probably composed between the second to sixth century C.E. And so now holds very very little Truths and actual facts from the original writing, whereas the document containing the book of revelation was found almost intact, though the real author of the book is still to be deciphered if it was john the apostle of jesus,(clairvoyant) or john of patmos who was an early christian prophet(clairvoyant). And although it is also noted that the writings in the books compare with that of some of the writings and predictions of the old testament books of prophets notably Daniel, Ezekiel, Psalms of david, and Isaiah(All clairvoyants), This should be considered as a sure proof that most of the symbolic representations of these particular events written on this book and most of the other books of the prophets are real and have some sort of Truth in them as they were all revealed to only clairvoyants and Since TRUTH is the Essence of the universal multidimensional consciousness which reveals these messages to these clairvoyant men, it is only Logical that they convey the same message but all have different symbolical representations because it is still the ordinary conscious mind that interprets this message from the superconscious mind and because the ordinary conscious mind is founded on earthly reality alone, and is influenced by what one knows, believes and understands here on earth, the symbolic interpretations of this same message might differ depending on the mind of the consciousness which this message/vision is being conveyed to.

So i think the book of revelation was the complete package (or the closest of all to being the complete package) of that divine message which was given as symbolic representation of what is to come in the future, and because The ordinary conscious mind can never comprehend most of the things of the spirit or the superconscious mind outside of this realm, these messages had to be passed symbolically through relating the things of the spirit to the things which the ordinary conscious mind can understand here on earth, thereby causing that message not to come in its pure and true meaning but through symbolism. And because it was only revealed to clairvoyants, Only clairvoyants also, can understand and interpret this message to the limits of his/her own understanding based on the comprehension of reality of its ordinary consciousness, no matter the symbolic form which this message is presented in. And since humans generally grow in knowledge in their understanding of the world and reality over time, The literal interpretation given here is a more modernized and more updated representation of this same divine message/prophecy To suit the understanding of our time, become clearer in its true meanings and be more understandable to the people of our generation which this message was originally intended for in the first place, Since obviously, the abstract symbolism used by the clairvoyant men of old and this new more understandable interpretation by a more recent clairvoyant only goes to show that the men of old translated this same message to their understanding of the world and Reality at that time And that was why it came out as abstract and as symbolic as it was.
Hope i contributed to your post. Have a nice day sir.

..........

Very good riposte. I am loathe to go too deeply into the allegorical symbolism of the Book of Revelations or the efficacy of prophecy altogether, (in my view, the dating of the written books of a significant amount of OT prophecy reveals that they were written mostly after the prophesied event) I do agree with you that the authorship is still indeterminate and your submission on the authenticity of the pseudo-Sybilline Oracles.

But the parts of the pseudo-Sybilline Oracles that concerns us are Books 3-5 which are undoubtedly by a Jewish author and they pre-date the Apocalypse of John. For instance we know that the author of the Sybilline Oracle Book 3 is acquainted with the Book of Daniel and that the author wrote under Ptolemy VII. Physcon, who at first reigned together with his brother but attained to the sole sovereignty (145-117 BCE).
We can further date Book 3 by the allusions to the destruction of Carthage and Corinth both cities, as is well known were destroyed in the year 146 BCE

The Fourth Book of the Sibylline Oracles appears to be from a single Jewish author. The book ends with an eschatological passage (152-192), within which we have an exhortation to repentance (162-178). It is the book that most closely foreshadows the Book of Revelations and there are significant parallels to be drawn between them. Internally the book can be dated to about 80CE: lines 107-8 reference the restoration of Laodicea after the earthquake (of 60CE); 115-118 references the internal struggles in Jerusalem during the siege (in 69CE); 125-6 talks about the destruction of the temple (70CE); whilst 119-24 speaks of the disappearance of Nero, the expectation of his return, and the struggles of 76CE.

Irenaeus dates the book of Revelations to around the end of Domitian’s reign, and that ruler died in A.D. 96 (Against heresies 30) Therefore we can be reasonably certain that the author of the apocalypse of John had access to the Jewish portions at least of the Pseudo-Sybilline Oracles.

I see the Apocalypse of John as no more than the Christian crystallization of its own form of eschatology as distinct from say, a Jewish apocalypse, in my view it is of very limited clairvoyance.

I Love the points you made, and i agree with you on almost everything you said except something u seem not to fully comprehend.
in the realm outside space and time, which is the realm of the spirit, the soul/subconsciousness which is the realm these clairvoyants visit to get their information, Time is static, which means there is no space, meaning time also does not exist in that realm. So what does it mean? I Can be a clairvoyant and visit that realm and get the same message Daniel, Isaiah or even Moses got during those ancient times, especially the very important ones which haven't happened yet, The only difference will be in my interpretation of that same message because my ordinary earth bound consciousness will interpret it differently from them because my idea of reality has changed a lot from that of Moses because the collective knowledge of humanity has increased and i obviously know more about the truths of reality than they did back then.

What i'm actually saying is, it doesn't matter the time these prophecies or these messages were given. They were all meant to pass the same message but were all symbolically represented differently because of the time frame involved and the minds of whom these messages were given to, given that they all lived in different times, obviously had different views/beliefs about reality and this influenced how they interpreted the message.

The Syblline Oracles might have predated the writings of the apocalypse of john, but nevertheless i still think they were gotten from the same source, which is the divine multidimensional superconcsiousness we all have within us, and was still meant to pass the same message, though in different times, giving rise to the resemblance of the abstract symbolic representation of the messages, but still showcasing the obvious differences in the writings and sequences of events due to the different times these clairvoyants lived.

That's my opinion on the issue bro,

I take your points, I fully comprehend the realm outside of time and space, and I get clairvoyancy. I am happy to see that you have made the point of clarifying that clairvoyancy can also be subjective and there is certainly mileage in your assertion of a common divine source for prophecy irrespective of time. For me, the issue is authenticity. All in all, very interesting posts.

Thanks bro, I really appreciate your interest in this topic and your deep educational questions and contributions which has also helped me learn some more new things too. However, speaking on the issue of authenticity, i think that most of texts, like we all agree on, obviously show some similarities btw each other regardless of the time/era this message was being received .I think This is the most obvious Truth that these messages are authentic or at least contain little elements of truth in them, Because regardless of the Age, the message had to still be passed and it is has been so. Once again, thanks a lot for your contributions sir, you can also follow me and get to view some of my other topics and also share your contributions and questions on them. Have a lovely day sir.
