VALENCIA OUT FOR A "WHILE"

The manager said Antonio Valencia will be out for a "while" following his arm operation but Matteo Darmian is trusted as his replacement after getting minutes in the Europa League already before playing against Burnley last weekend.

I haven't thought of Darmian as a bad player. His form tailed off after a very bright start under LvG but I admire his courage when he attacks. Not as solid as Valencia when defending against tricky wingers tho.
