@abakilikiboy -Please go ahead and marry your Baby mama. -Ensure that you both state in your affidavits (this is required at the marriage registry) that you are single with a Child. -Create a folder & begin to collect hardcopy evidences of your relationship with your baba mama. Past, Present & Future ones. Emails, pictures, chats, calls, money transfer etc) Am not sure of the year you said you would become a British citizen (u wrote April 2016) but whenever that is go ahead and put in for your spouse's settlement visa. It is not the ECO's job to Judge the circumstances of the birth of your son. & If they do have questions they would invite you for an interview. abakilikiboy: |

Thanks lexusgs430 Please am waiting you guys. I need you guys advice best way to go about their application 1-I will be in Nigeria in February next year so am thinking of going to registry in Lagos since I will be around, so that they can apply everything while in Nigeria which will be around July 2017 after my British citizenship. 2- Or invite her on fiancé visa and do the registry when she gets here in uk. |

Its two means to an equal end. One option isnt better than the other. Read up about both routes at www.gov.uk and Do whats most convenient for you. Both options would yield the same result. Which is your wife and son living with you in the UK. Just ensure your financial & accommodation requirements are met. abakilikiboy: |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 12:06pm On Nov 03, 2016 |
abakilikiboy: First and foremost, get the Lagos registry ceremony done and keep certificate well. This is the start of your spousal application process.......... If she applies for any sort of visa and gets rejected, how would that help your heart & your pocket ? No Wuruwuru to the answer, best to do it well and right and get the best outcome............. 2 Likes |

Hello guys.... Lexusgs430 has been the only one responding to my questions so far.... I appreciate you bro. God bless you. He suggested that me and wife contact the MP for her local borough. However, please I still want know if it is okay for me to also contact the UKVI on the phone or via email... This is because I have read on here from different people on how they sometimes make decisions on applications and they don't contact one until after a few weeks (when it's very close to expiration of the initial one month entry permit). If you feel that I should contact, please can anyone who has their contact supply me (email or phone number). Also I would like to know if I should be the one to contact them from Nigeria here or my wife in the UK? Thanks to @Lexusgs430 and others that will respond to this in advance. God bless you all |

good day everyone, I read Nkiruka1986, and I don't know if my case is similar to hers.My hubby moved back to UK in Feb 2016, and every details of our application including communication and other supporting documents start from then. the only other thing we have that has a timeline is our pictures.from 2014 till when he left. watsapp is from February(phone changed). and we have been living together since we got married in November 2015, so there was little chatting going on then. Will that pose any problem to our application under genuine relationship? |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Uchman365: 8:29pm On Nov 03, 2016 |
abakilikiboy: It will be a bad idea to try to get her a visa to the UK, it will probably be rejected once they see your relationship and cause unnecessary problems to her settlement visa. Just get married in Nigeria, get everything ready and apply once and for all from Nigeria |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by abakilikiboy: 9:05pm On Nov 03, 2016 |
Uchman365:Thanks uchman Appreciate your concern. We will do the registry in Nigeria and get other things ready while waiting for my British citizenship in April 2017 by Gods grace. |

Hi. Little chatting is still chatting. Its not going to pose a problem You may choose to provide an explanation for why you have little evidence of communication during that period in the "additional information" space of your online application form...or in your cover letter Ensure pictures for the duration of time he was with you (Nov '15 to Feb '16) are dated and include them. Good luck @oladunni4real oladunni4real: |
