teniola564: This is just wicked. The only fraud here is Nwando. When you dont have any achievements of your own, you run down those of other people. I am sure you have achieved nothing in our own life that is why you come to Nairaland to abuse others. As far as this thread is concerned, that bolded is not true. |

lol, nwando/babyosisi got totally bludgeoned and owned on this thread and ran out with her tail between her legs. She went out of her way to derail the thread with her bullsh1t but she's nowhere to be found now. She can't even do something as simple as use a search engine, but later some clowns on this site will say this poor excuse for a woman, nwando, is actually intelligent because she makes sarcastic comments. Doesn't she (nwando) work in the health care field as well? That would explain the petty jealousy and the desperate attempt to tear down this woman. 1 Like |

Well our dear Dr now as a dates with the GMC which she will obviously not be keen to publicise to CNN. I guess we get what we pay for in Nigeria. By the way Dr Akomolafe is no FRCPsych only God knows if any of the English names used are real people. Anyway here goes http://www.mpts-uk.org/calendar/event_details.aspx?ID=44db50ef-1238-4869-b61b-32c25ed09dea Dr Olamide OREKUNRIN From : 09 February 2015 To : 27 February 2015 Category : Fitness to Practise Hearings Info : Planned dates: 9 - 27 February 2015 St James’s Buildings, 79 Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 6FQ The Fitness to Practise Panel will meet at St James’s Buildings, 79 Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 6FQ to consider a new case of impairment by reason of misconduct. Name: Dr Olamide OREKUNRIN GMC Reference Number: 7013906 Area of practice: Birmingham and Nigeria The Panel will inquire into the allegation that whilst Dr Orekunrin held the position of Managing Director of Flying Doctors Nigeria (‘FDN’) she arranged for the referral of Patient A to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (‘QEH’) by way of long distance air transfer. It is alleged that prior to arranging the referral Dr Orekunrin failed to adequately examine or assess Patient A’s condition or ensure Patient A’s stabilization. It is also alleged that Dr Orekunrin gave incorrect details whilst arranging the transfer and that her conduct in this regard was misleading and dishonest. It is also alleged that, in relation to Patient A, Dr Orekunrin failed to undertake trauma surveys, assess the respiratory system, circulatory system, gastro intestinal system or the patient’s burns and their management. It is also alleged that she failed to provide and manage pain relief or monitor the patient’s vital signs. It is further alleged that Dr Orekunrim failed to provide QEH with adequate information in relation to Patient A’s condition, in that she failed to provide any records or evidence of the above matters. It is also alleged that she failed to ensure adequate and appropriate provisions for the safe transfer of Patient A to QEH. Following Patient A’s transfer to QEH it is alleged that Dr Orekunrin failed to adequately hand over Patient A’s care, provide details regarding Patient A’s medical records and provide adequate and accurate information to patient A’s family. It is further alleged that when a consultant involved in Patient A’s care requested further information by email Dr Orekunrin questioned the request, dismissed the tone of the email as irate, failed to try and obtain the information requested as she stated that she would do, and failed to treat the consultant fairly and with respect. The above reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the Panel. If you require up to date information regarding the allegation throughout the course of the hearing, please contact the MPTS at pressoffice@mpts-uk.org. In accordance with Rule 41(2) of the General Medical Council (Fitness to Practise) Rules 2004, the Panel may decide to exclude the public from the proceedings or any part of the proceedings, where they consider that the circumstances of the case outweigh the public interest in holding the hearing in public. |

She is a doctor. However she was suspended by the British Council for a long time. I do not think she is registered to practice in Nigeria as well. See this link http://www.mpts-uk.org/static/documents/content/Dr_Olamide_OREKUNRIN_29_January_2016.pdf You have to be careful with her. Those that have deal with her say she is extremely fraudulent. |
