Nigerian Army has modified its official logo. The new logo is a slight modification of the star position in the logo but still include the inscription from the Holy Quaran. The announcement of the slight modification was notified though the official Facebook account of the security agency. http://www.newshelm.com/2016/11/photos-nigerian-army-modifies-logo.html 2 Likes 3 Shares

Why displaying ur ignorance freely to Nairalanders? That's not a portion from the Qur'an, it's actually an Arabic way of saying' Victory is from God alone' Come to think of this: why is there a cross on red cross logo? Why is there a cross on Nigerian navy's logo? Are they meant for Christians? 268 Likes 24 Shares |

Clinton9000: You just had to type something because you have some data bundle or because your fingers were itching you, which one? Yoruba is Yoruba. Your silly attempt to divide us along religious lines isn't working, so give it up already and stop being lame. 113 Likes 5 Shares |

ibabkr: You think this is your village meeting where you tell lies and all those illiterates just accept it. As there is red cross, so also there is red crescent. Red crescent is the red cross for Muslims. MODIFIED: And there is no cross in the Navy logo, that is an anchor, can't you see the pointed tips 257 Likes 11 Shares

I know it's hard to be logical... Especially in an extremely diverse nation like Nigeria.... But C'mon, why not write it in English.... Who communicates in Arabic in Nigeria... Why is English the official language then? Before you quote Me, know that even in the houses of big imams, the lingua franca isn't Arabic. 72 Likes 1 Share |

ibabkr: You must be silly. Is Redcross a govt organization? Which nigerian navy logo did you see cross on? You are just a muslim thats why u support this stuff. We are not a muslim nation. Therefore anything that depicts a certain religion ahould not be found on our national belongings.. 84 Likes 4 Shares |

ibabkr:The red cross is originally a private organization founded by 2 Swiss nationals. The organization grew and birthed the IFRC and red crescent. The red crescent arose because they needed acceptance from Muslim countries. 21 Likes |
