Please I need all building guru to respond. Please what is the best way to approach a change of building after the foundation has been done. The structure was designed to be a 5rooms self-contains of room and parlor with kitchen and bath room. But now the plan is to convert it to 10 rooms of Room,kitchen and toilet.The initial foundation was done with 5 couches of block.

An architect will have to look at the drawings again.

Yeah the architect is saying we have to break the foundation and rearrange it to suit the new plans, which is very capital zapping right now. What if mass concrate (German flooring) is done and the new plan carried out on the Garman floor. Please I need answers. Thanks.

I agree, not all artisans prefer the per block model. However, i use the per block model as a benchmark in my negotiations with them. It's best to make informed decisions. That way, i still get a good deal.

you know this before and you are still asking.

Do another foundation round the old foundation, do the German floor and then use the size to draw your plan.

Congrats at @Ayobami52. I will need to monitor this your project as I also have a 3 plots of 60x120ft land fenced near Ben Folarin School a little bit after Omisanjana towards Oke-Aso (used to be Igbo-Aso) village. I will I came across good land around there.. My development on that land will start next year In-sha-Allah. God will surely help you to complete it.

I will start by giving glory to Almighty God for His faithfulness over my life and also providing for me to start this project.

I got this piece of land in Ekiti state, omisanjana, Ado Ekiti precisely at the rate of 300k. My plan is to abandon it for awhile before starting it, but I was moved by the encouragement I got from here, that we can actually build with little money, not until it reaches million.

I will try and be updating as the project goes on, and I will love the experience builders here to come in with critiques and advice.

Also I will updating the prices of materials used as it goes..

Do not try the bold! All walls must allign from trench to building height... except wardrobe walls.

It is best u wait till funds are available and break existing foundation, to erect new foundation walls...
