PoundspassDolla:Mind u, m from Niger Delta, Nigeria has bigger problems than the Nigerian army logo. I agree that it should be changed to English, but I don't think is something we should make a big deal of. Issues Like this is not suppose to cause any religious or tribal sentiment |

as a matter of fact the Nigerian army puplic relations owes it to the general public to come out and explain WHY the inscription is written in Arabic which is not a nigerian language. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ibabkr: Why must it be Arabic and not English which is the lingua franca of Nigerians. This country is not an Islamic country for crying out loud, why must their be an Islamic motivated inscription written in Islamic language. #Hypocrites 1 Like |

Re: PHOTOS: Nigerian Army Modifies Logo by Nobody: 2:25pm On Nov 06, 2016 |
Adiola: Where do I even begin to educate you. First, I don't really give a shit about whether there're igbos in the Delta or in the Niger and I don't really care one way or the other if the entire SS decides to secede with the SE today. It doesn't affect my daily routine. Second. When making comparisons, you compare like things, like apple and oranges, and not apple and akpu. I hope you got that. Yorubas everywhere practice one religion or the other. It doesn't make them less Yoruba. This isn't the case of somebody trying to force some people to be part of them like you are doing. The Yorubas in Ibadan practice Christianity and Islam. Ditto for those in Abeokuta, Oshogbo, Ondo, Ekiti, Ilesha, Kabba and so on. I hope you understand. |

ransomed:I think you got your History wrong there. The North did not want to continue as part of Nigeria at independence; rather they wanted to secede. The were convinced to remain by Azikiwe. You may want to ask Azikiwe why he convinced them to stay. |
