OBAGADAFFI: Thanks for this great info...I just saw my stockbroker's name (not Morgan) on the list and they never told me they were suspended that was why they couldn't trade... The question now is, how soon will the suspension be lifted? |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Godisfaithful: 2:14pm On Nov 08, 2016 |
OBAGADAFFI: Sir, from NSE perspective, Morgan Capital had been cautioned since July 28th 2016 on Rule 17.16 (b) but they never adhere to it. They see it long coming. I'm very very sorry for those being hurt by this. God will restore back what had been lost and restore our market back to a platform of comfort. It is very unfortunate indeed! Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Godisfaithful: 2:34pm On Nov 08, 2016 |
debeey87: Sir, there are many best stockbrokers out there with many soundtrack corporate governance and take customer satisfaction their uttermost priority. It is very unfortunate that Morgan Capital had a goldmine but they eventually tarnished it. My heart goes to those who are hurt by this. God will surely help you. Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 2:52pm On Nov 08, 2016 |
Godisfaithful: This means they might be trading through proxies. Some corrupt politicians might be laundering money through Morgan Capital. |

angelo82: And what exactly is deceptive trading pattern? Is it, for instance, when I replace an order many times, by shifting my entry point further and further south, when I see the market coming against me? I suspect morgan may not be the same when it finally returns. 1 Like |

Godisfaithful: Politicians will not take their money to big financial houses, due to the risk of exposure. This small firms are more desperate for big clients, so they will create safe haven for this politicians. Some of them are financed by politicians . |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Godisfaithful: 3:06pm On Nov 08, 2016 |
OBAGADAFFI: Sir, you're right. Nigerian politicians take their money to big house who had their attachment in other businesses outside NSE. This will help them to diversify their risk appetite even when the alarm went off! |

We all could have been responsible for Morgan's suspension. There was a day that I did try to buy a stock with the little amount in my trading account. Unfortunately I did not know that during pre-market, one should not bid lower than 100 units. Many of us are not aware of this rule. That day a stern e-mail came in from Morgan warning me to desist from such in the future. 1 Like |
