What most of us here dont understand about acc statement is, its not the balance that really matters. if u have 20m as balance today and u submit ur app to cic today, cic cant get beyond the date on ur SOA. so invariably u can withdraw ur 20m a day after submission and no one wud know. what am trying to clarify is, your inflow and outflow is what matters, most times i see people denied on this thread, they av more than sufficient balance. am not surprised at all at d moniker who got approved with less than 1m balance, have seen and i know at least 3-4 applicants presently in canada with same scenario. 2 even happened to b this yr and they are both pgc applicants. all you need is put forward a convincing application and seek Gods grace. thats all. I wish all TRV hopefuls success in their applications.

Dude this is incorrect. Balance matters a lot, inflows and outflows without enough balance to pay your fees and maintenance in Canada makes no sense.

Mathematics and Biostatistics are inconsistent in my opinion and knowledge. The VO was right.

Biostatistics is a specialization in Public Health/ Community health, Epidemiology.. It deals with rates, health statistics, health related data...
Mathematics is totally different. It's a department of its own.

In simple terms, Biostatistics is a health course while mathematics is an abstract science.
You can even see the are not in the same Faculty.
I did some level of Biostatistics during my Baccalaureate program, I know what I'm talking about and I'm in the health/medical profession.

Does University of Calgary offer Biostatistics as a collaborative program of Mathematics and statistics ?? Or you're making your own assertions and assumptions undecided

@mcowOobaba I greet you sir.
Please I need your help to pay for UofManitoba app fees. I have also sent you several emails in ur gmail address please kindly check.

Please house i am in canada for a visit and i dont intend going back to Nigeria, please can i apply for a student permit without having to go back to Nigeria?
Visit CIC website..
This issue is addressed clearly.
But to the best of my knowledge if I remember , I think you can apply provided your Visit/tourist visa is still valid for a certain duration. You can apply.
But consult CIC website, the issue is clearly addressed, I'm 150% sure. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visitor.asp

PS... Canadian immigration website is temporarily down due to glitches and maintenance, so you can't access it Now... Check the website later in the day.
It's having glitches.

I think the site had too much traffic immediately Trump took a lead on the poll. Not just Canada, New Zealand experienced such as well, but not sure if theirs crashed. IMO, so many things are going to be factored into Canada Immigration if Trump certainly wins. Some months ago, I overheard a white US immigrant, now citizen, saying he is planning on moving to Canada should Trump goes to the white house.
I really can't say much regarding study permit, but I think quota system will play a key role here.

I like exploring different world and new challenges. I have learnt from the European system and still learning; and I'm looking forward to the North American system. Canada is a good choice for me after the Europe experience. smiley

Do you have any tip?
