i agree with you. but i agree with the author that staffs are given preferences and have theirs processed at the main official CBN rate. mine took just (1) day to be processed when i did mine then, though my sponsor(mum) is a senior staff of the bank.but meeting a staff you don't know enough and have not established long term relationship before, is at risk in doing this.Money no be person friend oo..

I want to ask this sensitive question;

Is it possible to apply twice for study permit for different schools/programs at the same time, as method of gamble just incase one gets rejected? Online route

Thanks

No, it's not possible
Multiple applications are frowned at by Canada immigration. However u can apply to as many schools as u want, use only one school for ur visa app bearing in mind that you can change school when you arrive Canada.

This your question is funny but serious as I don't want you or anyone to make a mistake. You only submit one application for consideration/review. After the review of your application, you follow the next step which will be determined by the outcome of your visa application. In a nutshell, no multiple entries and don't try it.

The thing is yeah may be staff may have an edge. I used may because even an external personal can have edge over the so called staff. But from what I know, if anyone is going to have better edge then it should be someone who works in treasury department coz that's where the fx is bought and sold. Therefore because he put on an ID card and he works in Abuja office doesnt automatically means he can secure it for you, someone as far away as in Enugu who has a very good relationship with a trader in treasury can still have better edge than someone in Abuja or Lagos. Besides some staff you see in branches havent even been to the head office where the treasury dept is talkless of knowing anyone there while some are just jjc/contract staff with little ability to lobby in head office.
Agreed.

bro don't you know i can hold your money for 2months and trade with it with a financial institution and then get interest in return and give you back your money while i delayed you. i presume it is what these schools in canada do. why will refund take 2-3 months? this is the question i asked my school and they were beating round the bush saying this period is peak period.so i was like account/finance dept follow dey feel the peak/busy period. that's nonsense!

Good day guys!
Though i know your opinions do not reflect the direct opinions of the VOs but help me address this issue of funds.
Is the VO concerned only with the tuition fees + 10000CAD or does scholarship from the institution count too?
For example, if my tuition is 15k CAD per yr, and i get a scholarship from the sch around 20kCAD per yr, which means i have 5k extra... Can i then have a balance of 7k CAD in my account, since 7+5 = 12kCAD which is sufficient for a yr?
Or the VO is not bothered about the scholarship/bursary and i must show funds for my 15k tuition + 10k living expense = 25kCAD for a year

Abeg make una help me torchlight this matter

You can use d scholarship as ur source of fund and its acceptable. 12cad is sufficient with the scenario you put above. But apart from 10k cad for living expenses budget for like extra 3 to 5k cad for other expenses.

Okay, was your TRV approved? Yours and your wife's

executivegej:
It is more scary to claim you are leaving your wife and children for a long time. They are wiser and know the way of Nigerians- first the husband applies and later brings his family. So they tend to punish you by denying you even if they will give you later. Personal experience- research + sowp were approved for husband and wife in 8/9wks. I would not want to leave my spouse in Naija, it is a young marriage so I added a letter to explain why I want my spouse with me. No too much story. White man not vindictive as you think. You can include as many lettters as possible. Explain your own case. Never do copy and paste.

Always assume that VOs are wiser than you.

For home ties, use land documents and state you have family members in Naija- parents and siblings. Some use leave of absence letter too.

I love conestoga college, it took them just 6wks to refund my tuition fees. i was initially told it wud take up to 8wks but it took 6wks to get back the money.
