Nigeria's minister for Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh paid an inspection visit to some rice farms in Jigawa today, November 11th. Ogbeh alongside the Governor of Kebbi state, Atiku Bagudu, the Emir of Hadejia, Governor of Jigawa, Muhammed Badaru and CBN Governor, Godwin Emiefele inspected the rice plantations under the Anchor Borrowers programme.

Emefiele with his suit under scorching sunlight and direct heat in the farm.

At least he is now doing the job of CBN gov. not staying under air-conditioned fired office, toilet and board room and rolling out money+tary policies.

Our government makes me laugh sometimes.
The governors and their cronies own rice farms and plantations. They collect loans from the government through Cbn, while youth corpers and small business owners struggle to meet up with unrealistic loan criteria.
Please let us wake up. The cbn governor has visited keffi, Kaduna and now Jigawa, but yet the price of locally produced rice is rising. Yam dey deceive goat.
