The Glo mifi is straightforward, just go to http://www.bb5.at/huawei.php and insert your IMEI number to calculate your unlock code, when done insert another network's sim card, power it on and login to your webui enter username and password: admin, it will ask for the unlock code. Enter the V3 code and u're done.

hello gurus, am joining to party late. i have mtn 4g an spectranet 606 mifi to unlock. who can give step by step procedure. do i just flash the Iranian web ui straight away. Your input is appreciated

That's weird, I don install am on over 10 mifi. It's an higher version to the Iran web ui, so upgrade should be straightforward. You can try to downgrade firmware to 21.110, flash the web UI and upgrade back to 21.180 or 21.316.

I tried it and got the error 19 as well, so both battery and network leds started blinking endlessly. I had to flash back the Iranian web ui for the mifi to start working again.

Same happened to me, but i wanted to see it to the end and went ahead to downgrade to the firmware 21.110 Bleep, bros na him wahala start oh. The mifi just stuck to just the network indicator being on, everything i did was zero, so i had to boot shot again and reinstall the former firmware 21.180 Bleep and reflashed the iranian webui; only to find out that my imei had wiped off to 000000000000000, so i had to use putty to rewrite it back to the mifi.

so that's how we rolled.....lol, it was kindda fun sha

The Iranian Web ui is okay for me, since I have both USSD and 'Only ' network options in the HiLink app.

My brother i tire oh, yeah i got it working again, but as i advised earlier to everyone who cares to listen, if you can get to the point of inputting the unlock code without issues, just enter it; unlock ur mifi and move on. Don't try tweaking oh, the headache plenty.......

When I'm less busy I'll put up a comprehensive tutorial on how to effective unlock the MTN mifi without wiping your imei, serial number and web UI (definitely not today). But I can confirm that MTN ui is useless. The best web UI is the Russian web UI which was uploaded above.

Lol... I'm still suprised at the wahala you have gone through. Flashing 21.110 on Amy mifi will put it in a factory mode, the lights will be on stable. It'll allow you to do any upgrade, write imei or serial number to the modem using DC unlocker . I see your tools are different, that's where the conflict may have been.

You definitely didn't have to boot shot, the process wipes the nvram, so either or all imei, serial number and web ui is wiped. What you will do is write the values in hex using the NVR command in DC unlocker and install any web ui you want to use. Afterwards, upgrade with 21.180 or 21.316 and your mifi goes back to normal with all the changes intact.

I'll love to see this, I'll already compiled the tutorial with screen shots to a pdf, all files uploaded to my drive but my method wipes all the info and you have to write it back. I'm enjoying the Russian web ui and I don't get why they are having issues with it,I've had feedback from three other guys on this thread and it works perfectly

I don't believe there is a special 21.110 firmware, there is a generic 21.200 firmware you can always use to downgrade. The koko is sha to downgrade first

Boot shot is not complete without loading a USB.bin file, so I mean after the process everything gets wiped. I've tried like two other USB loaders on the mifi and it always wipe it.

U can use balong tool without wiping everything. U can research more or ask to know. If you follow the video by Sallu hassan, u will know that u can use balong tool without wiping the imei, serial no and web UI. Call me to be put an end to this unnecessary doubt. 0.8.0.2.6. 7.1.1.5.8.8

I see. There isn't much difference though. It's just the Russian Web ui has a nicer looking interface, and of course the USSD option embedded into it. I'll try it on my 320 later in the day and see how it goes.
