seunmsg: You tore your party membership card and sucked Buhari's dick and the virus your infected with as a result of your hatred is eating you after less than two years. Now you need the attention of the same people you voted out. Why didn't you keep the government rather you submitted it to the north. Don't you like power? Admit that chief Tinubu miscalculated the whole drama. His thrown off balance. Leave Ibos alone and nurse your injuries. Yoruba's handed the power to the north and should get it back. 2 Likes |

i think this Amadiohas are treading onto a valley of shadow of political betrayal. The Arewa people cant be aligned with without you licking your wounds it as happened before and it will happen again. the north as turn the southerners into a use and dump political allies and this is one of their famous idiosyncrasies Amadiohas better be wise and stand up for yourselves,as for the southsouth i know they will never support the north no matter what they will rather support the yorubas because they gave GEJ the presidency and took it back when things got out of hand so a possible Allies with the yorubas is possible. 1 Like |

catal: They want a separate state until an Igbo presidency is in view, then it's all good to be a Nigerian. Why do you people think other Nigerians have a duty to work for your dreams? Why do you think you should be gifted the presidency? In this life you earn your keep. It is not a mystery why the call for Biafra wasn't this feverish when Jona was president. Tell your prices to your children, not people who have been out and about and know how things go. 1 Like |

All of u shouting Afonja! Afonja! Abeg make una go die jare. We yorubas are self sufficient, we will live in comfort without chickens of the east or cows and rams of the north. Na now dem want romance north wey dem hate to the core just to hurt us............ Hahahahah! I laugh in yoruba. Population wise, una be jara for our side. Development wise, una no follow. Intellectual wise, una no gather. Manufacturing wey una try small, na so so fake fake things wey no fit pass national boundary. Eastern chickens can ally with northern cows and rams, we don't give a damn. One thing is certain, that is we hold ur destinies and assets, that was why it was pretty easy for us to squeeze u in the civil war, continue in ur insanity and history will repeat it self. Dem hate north, dem hate west, dem even hate themselves join. Bunch of hate ridden A/S/S/E/S. 1 Like |

datribune: McTobe: "1. the emergence of NCNC/NPC alliance to form the national government was not a planned or preconceived one it was as a factor of the parliamentary system of govt then in practice in Nigeria because NPC doesn't have the overriding majority in parliament to form govt alone winning 134 out of 312 seats & NCNC won 89. 2. SL Akintola's faction was actually the one that formed alliance with Northern Peoples Congress NPC to form Nigeria National Alliance NCNC. thus the shady way the prime minister Tafawa Balewa handled the Western Region crisis jailing pa Awolowo. Actually Zik formed Alliance with Awolowo not with the North. its your kinsman Chief Akintola that started the ass licking to score a cheap point against Awo 3. From 1962 - Civil war 1967 It was the Yoruba in alliance with the North and even when Awo came out of jail what he repaid the Zik alliance before the war was to suggest starvation as a strategy for winning the war. 4. Ekwueme/ Shagari ticket was sentimental by the Hausa/fulanis to use the igbos against the Yorubas who loved Awo more knowing that the Yorubas cannot support them. Ekwueme on the other hand is a nobody as far as politics is concerned in Igboland before then. the Igbo stood for zik & the few that think that he did not do enough doing the civil war were the ones that voted Ekwueme . Ekwueme/ Shagari ticket doesn't translate to Igbo/ Hausa alliance. Note that Ekwueme never held any Politically elective position before that time unlike Chief Akintola who was the Premiere of western region and led the Yoruba to the Alliance. 5. Why did u skip 1999 up to 2007. who gave Obj power and who was he in alliance with? who did he eventually hand over power to? I guess we all know, Hausa/Fulanis, Hausa/Fulanis, Hausa/Fulanis 6. At this junction I will simply place a link for every one to see the truth of the political alliance of the past which many know vert little about and judge for themselves.http://community.vanguardngr.com/m/discussion?id=4565467%3ATopic%3A842399 7. I challenge u to a logical argurment on this topic to dispute any of the above stated points" 3 Likes 1 Share |

I can see the ss/se is about digging their graves just like the time of Buafra war. Instead of all of us to sit down and think wisely on how our stupid leaders will be put to shame. We sh find ways how this country will be better for me and you. You are all here fighting and abusing each others. The South East always blame others for their problems instead of forget d past and think ahead. We all caused our own problems not others. Yoruba voted out Gej not only because he disappointed them but d whole nation. If another election is to be held today, yorubas will do the same thing they did to Gej. Tell me how many yorubas voted for Obasanjo. Few yorubas did if u still remember d history. Yorubas are not too conscious or selfish about their own tribe. That is what others dont know about the yorubas and that is what they have over other tribe. Our leaders and religion is our problem. If ibo have a good candidate there is nothing bad in voting him in. But to tell d truth to ibos, hausas will never allow dat. 2 Likes |

SirShymexx: Look, man, the nature of the demographic representation is such that the northerners have the aces, by virtue of sheer population alone. Factor in their penchant for religious groupthink and the advantage rises in their favour. So, SW basically negotiated from a position of weakness. A better collaboration would be an all south coalition because of our ideological and socio-cultural differences with the north, but as you know, some people will play the victim till Jesus comes. Even on this thread, one Ipobians has said that igbos have had every office that Yoruba have had and as such Yoruba haven't done any better politically than igbos. Isn't that clear doublespeak from the tribe who's toothpaste is cries of marginalisation? The igbos are the weak link in southern Nigeria. The southwest has shown that they are willing to be pragmatic and compromising as far it promises to benefit the common good. Can the SE say that? They are veey opportunistic and cannot delay gratification. The Jonathan that they clinched and pinned their hopes on, they had absolutely no input in his ascension to power. It was OBJ who elevated him, and that was ven a PDP arrangement. The PDP thatvwas regarded as a majorly old establishment/northern party. Don't forget in '99, SW votes went to Olu Falae. It's a pity things are the way they are, but IMO, there's little that can be done when the south is at a war with itself. I would like Omoluabi to propose a what Tinubu coukd have done differently. 3 Likes |
