1. Above.com is not a parking company. Apart from buying selling and domain auctions, their main role is to assist domain parkers to get the best returns from their parked domains. And this is how it is done; parking companies have different rates they pay for CPC in different keywords. Some pay high for certain keywords and some pay quite low on SAME keyword. Registering an expired domain is the same as registering a new domain, once it's expired, it get deleted and another person can register it.

list it for sale in different marketplaces or better still ask for a refund if it is less than five days old. not popular keywords and very little endusers. you will make more impact if you target endusers. Don't take appraisal serious as I earlier said. it's just software generated and NEVER mean that's how much a domain worths. yes just like other marketplaces, bodis use escrow to complete transactions and handover once you sold a domain with them but they're more popular in parking than selling.

Point of corrections. There are many expired domains that may not drop, the advantages on them are the age and many other factors such as cpc, traffic and other qualities.
However, you may also get good ones among dropped, dropped are those domains that escaped catching before they are deleated. Dropped are domains which you can register as new domains. They do not carry old age with them, they are absolutly new and fresh for registration.
