It is possible depending on your course; but you may have to take some steps which might make the process longer. Shalom[/quoteHello guys, I am about applying to university of applied science luebeck, I don't know how to package my reference letters, do I tell my professors to send them separately? Or do I send them by myself? Also, do I send the reference letters to uni assist or to uni luebeck.
Thanks in anticipation.

Did your admission processes require you to send your certified documents to your school at the same time uniassist? IF yes, photocopy every every including the reference letters and certify it at the court or embassy. Keep the original with you unless if your school stated it categorically that they want the original. As for uniassist, just package the whole certified document together and send it to them. Shalom

Your chances are slim because, Rhinewal is always very strict with there requirements. If you didn't meet the requirements, uniassiSt will only process but they will tell you that you didn't meet the requirement hence they will not forward it unless if you force them to do so. For Mechanical Engineering in Rhinewal, you need minimum of 2.5 German grade scale and C1 English language test which starts from 7.0 and above. Your Gpa scale in German grade scale will be around 2.7/2.8 and your IELTS is also low to there minimum requirement. I will just advise you to look elsewhere if possible and use that as back up plan incase. Shalom

Was told via email that they accept a minimum of 6.0 for IELTS and am only worried about my CGPA of 2.67 of 5.0 Nigerian scale.... If dts equivalent to 2.7/2.8 of German GP...then am good to go... I am applying for MSC MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. Thanks

See, German scale ranges from 1 as highest to 4 as lowest. So, if ur GPA is 2.7, it means that you are below the cut off which is 2.5.

Your CGPA is 2.7 on German scale. If the school actually said that, then no problem but I will implore you to confirm very well. Check the pictures attached, they might be of help to you. In the two Msc courses in one of the pictures attached, they require 2.5 and 2.0 CGPA respectively but the applicant has 2.7CGPA. However, you can still go ahead and try it out since the admission to the course is not restricted; but don't put all your eggs in one basket. Expand your horizon to other schools. Shalom

OK thanks... Maybe it was English score or the competition was much and they had to raise the standard.

They only do that if the course is restricted. But if the course is not, Rhinewal don't do that; they give admission to everyone that has the requirements no matter the number of the applicant once you apply during the application period.

Hi futurewise11 I got this massage from the embassy
Your visa application is still pending and about to be rejected due to lack of co-operation on your side. The proof of financing your stay in Germany was not presented yet.
We understand the economic difficulties the country and its citizen are currently facing.
Therefore I would be most grateful if either present the “Sperrkonto” within a week or alternatively you could confirm in writing that you withdraw your current application for a student visa due to the lack of funding.
Thus a negative visa record will be avoided.

I will be applying for summer I want your input about the best action I should take. Thanks.

If you know you cant get the DB funding in few days I will advice you to withdraw the application. In my opinion, they are giving you the best advice.withraw and reapply when you are sure of getting the fund for DB.

I will pay by bank transfer directly into your nominated bank account in Nigeria while you credit my account here in Germany. We were disappointed by Travelex at Murtala Mohammed Airport 2 days ago after waiting on the queue for almost 5 hours, only to be told that there was no more foreign exchange. I am available for serious business at a rate we both will agree on and I will initiate the transfer after we must have talked on the phone. I look forward to a serious business partner from this forum.
