You failed totally one bundle of 1000 Naira is 500,000 Naira. Another point of correction such money can be counted more than ten days if it was single teller handle it because the money was counted and recorded not trow into dustbin also consider the brake hours. Try visit bank bulk room one for more experience. muyoge: |

Ekpekus: Why would they spend 24 hours counting money? Let's b a lil logic here. Do u think they will not answer other customers? Do u think they will spend more than 8 hours daily counting that money? Have u ever used a counting machine? Do u know that sometimes, some notes get stuck and that might cause delay? How many counting machines does a bank have? Will they now use all d counting machines for this? How many staffs were asigned to this assignment? How much do u think a branch of a zenith bank in akure/ekiti will have in their possession daily? Do u know that 10 bails of 1000 naira notes is just 1 million? 100 bails is 10 million. 1000 bails is 100 million. Then going by 1000 naira notes alone, how many bails will 1billion naira amount to? |

muyoge: Good, u got 50 hours and that's just a little above 2 days. Now consider all these. Unpacking and repacking. Puthing the bails in new zenith bank wraps. Recording. Money getting stuck in machines. Those counting taking breaks at intervals. And from your conclusion, will they spend the whole day counting? Will they be sleeping in the vault? Haba. If going by your 50 hours, do u think they will be spending beyond 8 hours on it daily. That's 6 days , then running till 7th day. Going by that kind of transaction, it's possible it runs into the 10th day. Lemme even ask u this. The branch of zenith bank they are talking about in akure/ekiti, 1.2b naira cash? Go and ask them, they might have never had any cash beyond 100 million daily before since the opening of that branch 1 Like |

Ten days to count Fayose's campaign fund donated by Goodluck Donatus ...O my God,the man was a billion even before he contested election. If Obj made 25 people bilionaires in Naija,am sure Goodluck made 250 people billionaires during his Bazar reign |
Re: "It Took Us 10 Days To Count N1.2bn Money Dasuki Gave Fayose" - Witness by sabdaz: 6:38am On Nov 15, 2016 |
Dmano: As per the judges, they will only count the bails. And remember, they said hard currencies were part of those that made up the money with the judges. The bank on the other hand, would count the pieces that made up the bundles. |
Re: "It Took Us 10 Days To Count N1.2bn Money Dasuki Gave Fayose" - Witness by agabusta: 7:44am On Nov 15, 2016 |
deolu2000: Try and analyse the matter before running into conclusion. He never stated that they didn't do anything in the branch during the period. If it's a busy branch, they have only 2 people to spare for the counting. They can't shut down their operation because they want to count cash. 1.2billion to be counted in 10days equals 120million per day. 120million per day equals 120,000 notes of 1000naira or 1200bundles. 120million per day equals 240,000 notes of 500naira or 2400bundles. It is possible to use 10days to count such cash, but also very possible to count in lesser days if they have more hands and they are not bothered by other matters. |

How can u use 10 working days to count 1.2billion Naira. And he is a bank manager..... Bankers in the house how long does it take to count 100million Naira? Remember the money was mostly in 1000 Naira notes, plus they used counting machines. The number of people involved in the counting and machines used wasn't stated but it's obvious this guy is lying about the amount of time if took them to count the cash! PS- I'm not defending anyone, just been logical! Please mind you that the Branch has other customers they attend to, and not that they have closed the Branch to count only the N1.2Billion. Thank you agabusta Your explanation is very clear. And the number of days the Branch manager mentioned is very possible. Because i was a Branch manager too, i know what entails for a bulk teller to count such huge amount of money couple with other operating procedures in counting cash like checking of fake notes etc. |

There is a lot of wastage in this country. The mode the then president spent his security vote, the other former president also got their security votes and spent on wastage. The governors also spend their security votes in such reckless ways. |

It took you 10 days to count the N1.2b. Was it done manually by hand or with a counting machine? If it was done with a counting machine it cannot be up to 10 days. This is number 1 lie. |

hotice01: I am not in doubt that it might take them 10 days to count that money, being logical lemme explain how it works for you..... 1. The bank staff that counted the money are not special people that were recruited to count Agbele's money. 2. They are the same staff that still have their normal daily work routine which they are to attend to. 3. Ado Ekiti is not really a commercial hub like Lagos, Abuja, Portharcout, Warri that will have large number of staff. 4. I doubt if they will even have a bulk room, even if they have they might not have more than 2 staff and three front tellers that will be attending to customers. 5. Assuming that the bulk room was cancelled for the time being just to count that money, i did not see a situation where the bank will draft staff from other branch to the Ado ekiti branch just to count money (That is even if there is another branch of Zenith Bank in Ekiti) not to talk of sending in staff from other locations to Ado Ekiti just to count Agbele's Money. 6. The same counting machines they will use to count the N1.2billion naira is the same they have been using to attend to customer. So i dont see a situation where they will have to buy other counting machines or request for other ones just because of Agbele's money which is just a one off transaction (Who bear the expenses for that?) 7. So, i don't foresee a situation where they will ground all other activities of the branch nor ask all staff to join hands all because they want to count Agbele's money 8. Counting of Money is not that easy per say, anyone that has been in a bulk room will attest to it. You unwrap the money, count using the machine and in case the machine did not count correctly, you need to confirm by counting with your hand after which you wrap again and append your signature. The essence of putting your signature is for confirmation that you counted the money correctly and if anything happened to it you will be held responsible if another person want to confirm the money. 9. If they did not take their time to count, how will they find out that N80million naira is missing out of the money because there was a report that the money was short of N80million after counting which caused argument between Obanikoro and Fayose. I doubt if more than 3 people counted the money. I also doubt if it is not the same cash centre that service Akure also service Ekiti. Even to count N50million naira will take you hours in a location like Ekiti which does not have a big branch like major city centers we have in the country. This is just my opinion |
