oscarpellenchy:Now very clear.... same clearity @yemdogg was asking for..... you have been accessed wrongfully on another applicant's account. This is not only a negligence but unfair and careless mix-up!! What a misrepresentation of facts.. Its not different from getting someone else's bad medical report in the hospital. ... so sad!! And trust me.. oyinbo doesn't enjoy being nailed... you need to quickly respond to this with a very strong LoE.... not rude but firm... Another unfair thing is that you have to reapply again... but the guilt may push your response out asap... Good luck! 3 Likes |

oscarpellenchy: There must have been a mistake somewhere. I think she should reapply. With a strong sop. Buh my advice is for her to look for a masters degree which is finance related. The big question is....why would a chartered accountant with 7 years of work experience go for a PGD? Why not MBA or some other striking master's degree in finance/business. Lemme ask you what was stated in the refusal letter itself. Cos apparently it seems the gcms notes applied for on your wife's behalf may not be apposite to her profile. There must have been a mistake either from the person filling the atip/gcms notes forms or maybe the VO made a mistake in recording her data. If the tuition is 7k per semester what is the duration of the entire program? How many semester in total. Whatever your outcome is add it with 10k cad. When you add these together is the naira equivalent sufficient? As it is now, in view of the circumstance you still don't know the real reason for refusal. Try and apply for another gcms notes to be sure. If you cannot do that, tell us the reason stated on the refusal letter so that we can make a calculated guess on the reason for refusal and tackle it head-on. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 9:14pm On Nov 15, 2016 |
oscarpellenchy:thanks for the clarity..the gcms note of your wifey speaks almost the same thing with mine which was far from what was only ticked on my refusal letter.i don't see this as a mix-up but an act of negligence because it's a pgc program and the VO just copied and pasted whatever he feels like from their archived source to make up the case file..as advised by the other moniker, let your wifey go for masters cos even after writing such sound LOE addressing the issue, the VO might clear that and might now nail her ON PURPOSE OF STUDIES.in essence while re-appying,Masters admission will make this safer in my own view 1 Like |

oscarpellenchy: Obviously there was a mix up in the gcms note but that does not mean a mix up in the decision. first option is to write them about the gcms error and request for another one, however concerning the application your wife chances of approval is very low with the pgc program best bet for her is an MBA which she can also easily gain admission and improve her TRV prospect |

Good Evening, i'm new here. I just started my application for Fall 2017; LLM University of Manitoba. I just want to ask whether it's necessary that I should obtain a letter of recommendation from any of my lecturers during my undergrad days or anyone; family/friends can do that for me. Thanks. |

Thanks Ray12345. My advice to everyone waiting for a response from IRCC. Just keep believing in God, trust me he can turn the impossible to the possible. Despite submitting my application late I was able to get TRV in just 18 working days. You all should keep believing and keep praying hard and it would come trust me. I wish you all success and hopefully y'all would share your testimonies soon. 14 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by yemdogg: 10:07pm On Nov 15, 2016 |
Claroo: Recommendation letters should be either academic or professional. So recommendation letters written by family or friend do not carry any weight in most cases they're usually discountenanced. Llm at University of Manitoba requires 3 recommendation letters. You can mix your recommendation letters I.e academic and professional. However, I strongly advise you to submit academic recommendation letters particularly because it carries much weight. Ensure to have a lecturer who taught you or/and your supervisor during your research paper in final year to provide you with recommendation letters. 2 Likes |
