If you want college to be cheap then you should look for a candidate that will stop the goverment giving out student loans. Not a socialist.

If the fed stops loaning out thousands to every student, schools wont have any incentive to keep raising the price, building huge faculties they dont need and stop creating useless programs. Stem programs can always be an execption to the rule.

The problem is not capitalism. If you have over 70k debt and still cant figure this out, maybe you should leave school.

My siblings and I were very lucky to have parents who assisted us that when we graduated we only had minimal tuition loans to pay back.
