GrandMufti:Alright thanks. Is note 4 affected by this too? Though I don't know why some note 3 specs is better than 4, like the camera. 13 to 16 |

Phoenix619:Bro paper specs are not always the same as real life experience. Though reviews say the note 3 is slightly better in camera, take note slightly. Concerning the note 3 battery drain, its definitely a bug that they most likely have started working on, don't let that bother you; like GrandMufti said, you can remain in miui 7 if you desire. |

I can't seem to understand this battery drain issue.... I never experience such on my note 3 pro snapdragon. I'm on miui 8 global 6.11.3 beta. 1 Like |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by GrandMufti: 2:41pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
Ayostically: You get daily/ weekly updates if you are on developer/beta rom. Still, it's optional and depends on you. It doesn't matter which phone you get, you can disable auto update or remain on stable rom |

Guys my mtn sim is saying my phone isn't 4g enabled. I'm using Redmi Note 3 Mtk and I know it is 4g enabled and supports band 7 which is what mtn uses. Has anyone successfully used mtn 4g on his/her RN3? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by GrandMufti: 5:24pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
Ayostically: It depends on how you define heavy usage. But it should last for 12+ hours |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by GrandMufti: 5:34pm On Nov 16, 2016 |
eye2sabi: Yes you are right. Mtn uses band 7 and 20. But right now only one is operational. I think it's band 20(800MHz) they acquired from visafone. I could be wrong but someone should confirm. 1 Like |
