Develpeast:Obviously, you have never been to Nsukka all your life. What is your definition of an urban area? Just google "Nsukka Urban" and educate yourself. I don't why you Igbos hate Nsukka people. Even an Anambra man who lives in the forest will still look down on Nsukka people. Well, Igbos are their own worst enemies. |

Urbanization is a word for becoming more like a city. When populations of people grow, the population of a place may spill over from city to nearby areas.... The poster seems explaining in the number of big towns associated with the capital city of each state to judge urbanization. Even when states like osun, ondo, akwa ibom etctl that some mentioned with very low business strength have more big towns than abuja, rivers, kano that have heavy population & business depth. And that's why u see in rivers, lagos, abuja and other big cities, dwellers could go as far to go wider to there other towns even if small to leave there. U won't tell me u want to rate states been urbanized and not start from the capital to the infrastructure provided and as well as there population depth and also the industries that thrives in them. Lagos, FCT, Rivers, Anambra, Kano, Ogun(cos of nearness to Lagos), delta, Oyo, abia, Kaduna are my best 10. One make more money in those states than any other and should be used in rating urbanized states... 2 Likes |

Kfed4ril: Is it London, Kano, New York, Jos, Maiduguri, Berlin, Dallas, Moscow, Brasillia or which city has less Yorubas than Igbos? Which Igbo billionaire over 70 is based in Europe or North America? Like Deinde Fernandez, Harry Akande and etc Please let us be serious, Yoruba surpass Igbos in travelling as well as making it abroad, maybe two times sef. Then Ejigbo is in Osun and Ogbomosho in Oyo, none bothers Francophone countries. They are no different from Enugu or Nnewi please. What do you mean by Ogbomosho is close to Ilorin? Do they speak Hausa in Ilorin? Or you dont even know what you are saying again Bros? The most Northerly Yoruba traditional state is Jebba and they dont speak Hausa there as first language. When you move to Nupe, the Nupe speak Nupe, Yoruba and Hausa but Ilorin people speak less Hausa than Ogbomosho as learnt language. 6 Likes |

Kayrich: I cant accept that Anambra has more business strength than Osun. What are they producing there? What is their GDP in Anambra. You cant just say Osun, Cross river, etc have very low business strength when all indicators say GDP per capita is higher in Osun than Anambra! Your notion is wrong. I can sit here and count people employed in Ilesa who are paid up to N2 million per month, maybe 20 people at least. How many in ANAMBRA? Just dont dismiss a state like that. Osun is richer than Anambra. What is Anambra producing? What is the GDP? 3 Likes |

orimsamsam: Afonjas are really funny, comparing Oyo to Anambra is hight of madness Lagos, 6 other states control 90% of cash transactions in Nigeria – CBN The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said that Lagos and six other states control about 90 per cent of cash transactions in the country. The other states are Rivers, Anambra, Abia, Kano, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). CBN Deputy Governor, Operations, Mr. Tunde Lemo, who disclosed this, said this was the reason why the abovementioned states were been slated for the second phase of the cash-less project billed to kick off on the July 1st. Acknowledging that there have been and there are still challenges with the cashless project, he said most of them are being resolved. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/05/lagos-6-other-states-control-90-of-cash-transactions-in-nigeria-cbn/ 3 Likes

omoyowa: You have to lay bare facts, dont just talk. This is one company in Ilesa https://www.nairaland.com/1077706/accountants-needed-ilesa-osun-state Ilesa manufactures plastics, nails, beer, wines for export, then it has a multi billion dollar farm produce sector, it has equipment fabrication companies, it has a multibillion dollar agro allied sector for export. Vegetable oil refinery for export. Foam production for export, then the internal economy is there servicing the people. So you have to say why you think Anambra is richer. You people come to Ilesa to buy Tokunbo cars. Our people go to Onitsha to buy some things too but to say Osun is low compared to Anambra is totally wrong. Your main resident CEO is Innoson, right? Is he up to Tuns Farm in Osogbo? Ramon Adedoyin in Ile Ife? Yinka Oba in Ilesa? And etc? That is the way to measure. Is he more than Sarumi of Saro Agrochemicals in Ilesa? And etc. Dont just be making arbitrary declarations! 4 Likes 1 Share |
