Do you even know the online protest that I'm talking about? I'm talking about protesting online for the increment in Corps members allowance or monthly stipend. And believe me, this protest does not affect going to camp. It's just to let the government know that Corps members (generally and not batch B 2016 alone) needs and increment in the monthly allowance being paid.



So don't u think that the time to act is now? Someone needs to keep reminding them. Make ur voices heard. The earlier the better.
I don't like all this self-centered attitude that u people are displaying.
Stand up for once and fight for the future Corps members!!

Of course I know you're referring to the increment in the monthly allowance. My claim of "you've brought this up before" Should let you know that I've been following almost every post here. Remember when allowance was 7k or there about? Was it increased to 19k8 as a result of protests? And of course it won't stop going to camp, I never even said that. But it could delay it far longer than we could possibly think. Here's the trick, when the boss is looking for excuses to pinch out of your stipends, don't even give him an excuse to completely box you into a corner.
And oga, who told you that the government itself isn't concerned about the NYSC allowance? There are people in government who have made efforts for the review of the allowance. It's a process. It's not something you "force" with protests. So kindly update yourself with this and allow the process to sail smoothly.
