Can you recall how much SKYE was trading before the last result and how much higher it traded after the result?,and what do you think about expected result from SKYE as in when and expectation.

Skye bank . . um
- posted N40.73 Billion Loss in 2015 FYE
- Announcement was late July, ard 29th . SP closed at 70kobo
- but rewind to July 01, Skye SP dropped from N1.05 to 58 kobo by July 15th
- only to rebound from 58 kobo to 90 kobo in 6 days ( both movements clearly speculative)
- since that flash rally, its been on d down trend.
- asper results , not expecting it to be good at all (IMO)
- the former chairman shud be jailed honestly

Result may not be bad as the previously declared loss for 2015 because the new management may want to proof that they are on top of the game.At least Skye may be good for speculation.

- umm
- its at a new 52-week low of 0.53kobo
- so there is nothing to fear technically
- but with 3 quarters missing , the oil loans , directors loans , devaluation from 280 to 305 yet to be reflected , irregular account concerning mainstreet buyout + d general bearish times
- its a tough one boss

was able to trade with leadcap today but late cos it took some time to give me login details. anyway hope to sell more tomorrow. the transaction charges to sell alone added up to 1.426 which is too high compared to morgan.
the process will start from the new house
(pls remeber this), you take utility bill, means of id, its best if you can call to request the documents they need from you. request they send it to you as an attachment. its mainly, the inter house transfer form and the kyc(know your customer) form, you need 2 passport foto, also request your cscs form from morgan and any other form, it can be sent to you online, you need to go with them to the new house. for me l had to open an account with leadcap for 5k. your interhose transfer form will be signed and given back to you immediately so that you take it to morgan to also sign and drop your account opening form to morgan. Before leaving the new house it is advisable you have their officer's phone no to know when morgan signs off. which should be by the next day.quote author=daemperor1 post=51083279]
Thanks for d update.[/quote]

You should consider sale of foreign assets might boost their balance sheets.I am just thinking apart from restructuring of their shares which is the main risk but not much risky buying a bank like that at 53k after all thing will get better.Oando is still going up and down, grin.

This has been gotten..For the benefit of others, they should visit Cardinal Stone registrars office at 358, Herbert Macaulay way, Yaba, Lagos. The tender offer closes on July 1st after which Ashaka cement shares will be de-listed from the floor of the NSE... wink

Stocks i misfired on between Q1 and Q3; Losses was just too much, no sight of recovery and had to bolt out. I must also mention that I have as well made some cool money on other stocks.

1. Oando
2. GSK Plc- bought at N24.00 sold at N19.50
3. Zenith Plc-bought at N16.80 sold at N14.90
4. Transcorp- bought at N1.2 sold at N0.95
5. Champions breweries- entered at N4.70 sold at N3 (terrible and very illiquid stock)
6. Guiness plc- entered at N100 but bolted at N90 (I was caught in web of poor financial performance)

Does it mean i won't hold these stocks again in my portfolio, definitely not. The moral of this post is that we must make SURE we get our timing, information and strategy right before investing in shares.
