Jos is a nice place. Cool and calm. It's a serene state. Standard of living ranges from low to moderate. Most of the negative stuff you might have read about Jos are usually exaggerated...blown out of proportion. The people in Jos love fashion and then the weather is really nice. If you eventually get posted here, prepare well for the cold in December. Jackets and all.
It's more like a civil servants town so the commerce can't be compared to cities like Lagos. But overall, I love Jos.

I'm not a Yoruba man but "Fa" is a slang used by the Yoruba's majorly the kwarans(Ilorin)the Gbongans and some Oyo indigenes.
This slang is used to further buttress their points or rather it is used when they are so much into conversations.
However, Y0rme popularize it on NL,kudos bro.
The Yoruba's are unique tribe,very accommodating,wise and fun to be with.

Yes, the Hausa's use the "Fa" word as well,but it's not that rampant, I heard it in nassarawa,Abuja(Gwaris) as well.
Do not rule out the Arabs as well,I once heard one using the "Fa" word,was so surprised when he used it but I don't want to interfere in his speech as I can hardly decipher the little Arab language he spoke.
I believe there is a connection in the Arab, Yoruba and Hausa dialect.
Like the word "Fitina" which equally means the same in Yoruba and Arab dialect,probably same apply to the Hausa dialect.
