Do you call his last three games starting or ending? His last three games showed the trajectory of the team. Unfortunately, the NFF then were trigger happy to let the Iconic hero go. We were one goal a way from the going to the AFCON. Chances we created multiple times in that game. Some missed by Musa and Uche.

Keshi won the AFCON, Qualified us for the World Cup, took us to the knock out stage of the World Cup. We had a poor start to the qualifiers, but finished strong.

I wonder where he blew it. Keshi gets loads of unfair criticisms but his good works trumps the bad.

Unless you did not watch CHAN. Ejike Uzoenyi merited that slot after Keshi left him out. It was Echiejile's injury before the World Cup that gave Uzoenyi that chance.

By the way, we got to the World Cup knock out phase with that squad. Went toe to toe with France. They resorted to injuring us to win. Not one but two players. Ambrose and Onazi.

The problem is name, not the achievement he made at the World Cup.

Keshi never claimed he was a tactical genius. He walked the corridors of the glass house, begging for the NFF to overturn the unfair dismissal of his technical adviser, the heroic Sylvanus Okpala.

So how can you claim that Keshi felt he was a tactical genius?

I repeat, unfair criticisms.

Gbolahan Salami was one of the local League's top scorers. It frightens me that you want the national team coach to turn his back on some of our promising local talents.

Even reports says Rohr is monitoring Salami. You did not complain then.

Imaging keeping 7slots for home based players every game. No merits. I almost had heart aches with Keshi's selections.

Keshi did not have a disastrous finish. He showed recovery, scouting brilliance, bringing in the likes of Aluko and Hope Akpan.

He showed tactical brilliance after he switched Onazi to a right back to cope with the nagging injury of Ambrose. He showed guts when he removed Onazi from the midfield because of the lapses in his defensive discipline. Showed ruthlessness cutting Echiejile and bringing in Oshaniwa.

Give respect to greatness.

Even players like Uchebo, Agbim, Egwuekwe,were not Nigerian national team material.

I love Keshi but some of his selections were poor.

Disagree with some points. Use Egwuekwe for this instance. Against South Africa, if I remember right, Keshi removed Omeruo and left only one center back. This gave us midfield advantage. Egwuekwe as the only central defender, kept us solid and stopped repeated counter attacks.

Very few defenders can pull that off but here you are criticising Egwuekwe.

Aluko was already in the national team set-up before Keshi. He was not 'scouted'... How many years of crying did it take to invite him?

We never had our best crop of players playing in any given game.

Got to the round of 16 with a squad that had only reuben gabriel who hasnt had much action to come in as Onazi's replacement in that game against France.

Remember Reuben was supposed to be dropped from the final world cup squad due to some health ish but Keshi chose to reward "his loyalty"

What a story.... Had we had a good bench against France, we would have won. Keshi failed in that area... We lacked a good bench.

Reward loyalty. This is what I a saying. You did not see the hard work, training to get the team going toe to toe with France and France resorting to dirty tactics to win.

Reuben is not the issue sef... The issue is we had a bad/low quality bench.

Reuben was just an example of what a bad bench we had.

And yep it is "rewarding loyalty" because Reuben was not the best back-up we had for Onazi. We had others.
