See as bargains full market and we never even start Black Thursday Xmas sales yet.... cheesy

anyway all eyes would be on Emefiele and the wise men at CBN come Nov 22 MPC meetings..

would they finally allow Naira to Float?

would they go expansionary and reduce MPR??

Sir, you asked a very serious question? I don't think so. The president is in charge of everything...Remember the case of DSS harassing and arresting the BDC Operators... Let's wait and see!

I share your sentiments...PMB with his defiance nature will definitely not approve of CBN embracing full devaluation. I just hope it won't get worse than this before he realizes his mistake.

Stocks i misfired on between Q1 and Q3; Losses was just too much, no sight of recovery and had to bolt out. I must also mention that I have as well made some cool money on other stocks.

1. Oando
2. GSK Plc- bought at N24.00 sold at N19.50
3. Zenith Plc-bought at N16.80 sold at N14.90
4. Transcorp- bought at N1.2 sold at N0.95
5. Champions breweries- entered at N4.70 sold at N3 (terrible and very illiquid stock)
6. Guiness plc- entered at N100 but bolted at N90 (I was caught in web of poor financial performance)

Does it mean i won't hold these stocks again in my portfolio, definitely not. The moral of this post is that we must make SURE we get our timing, information and strategy right before investing in shares.

Chairman....u dey buy sha. I hail ooo...I even think say u be gentle man
Edit: You no tell us how much u bought and sold Oando grin

Hypocrisy of Buhari might make him to allow full float of Naira because of Egyptian success.

Why didnt u go for the direct settlement with cscs ?

Does leadcapital offer Real time live trade or you have to send mandate via online Chanel?

And the fee for buy and sale?

@Intendy Can you recommend any brokerage that offer service similar to morgancapital?

I believe the ASI will break through 24000 sometime between now and Jan IF the present economic climate (attack on pipelines, no FX devaluation, sub $50/barrel crude price) continues. So in the interim focus is on deciphering stocks likely to outperform that trend
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ExLaidback: 9:58am On Nov 18, 2016
Meanwhile I did small analysis on Diamondbnk recently and it seems too early to purchase as they are likely to post a loss by the end of this year if care is not taken. So their price might still fall far below what it is now before finding support

Oga, leadcapital also use DIRECT CASH SETTLEMENT.

They also send emails to all their client with the forms attached.

And settlements is T+3.

How will the Brokers' discounts to clients be handled?
The broker will receive full Brokerage commission (currently 1.35%) and settle their client accounts with respect to any other additional discounts agreed with the client at T+3.

I won't rule anything out cos in business world nothing is impossible. But their predicament is caused primarily by FX troubles and devaluation not foolish spending like Skye (they have some huge liabilities denominated in dollars but they can reduce their exposure by FX swaps) . So ordinarily I think they are more likely to recover faster than Skye even if they post loss now. Just my opinion though

Diamond is as reckless as skye and they may go the way of skye at last. The good thing is skye has already declared loss but Diamond is still struggling with the situation but to get out of the wood they will also declare loss at a point.
