Ibom Unity Park is one of the biggest recreational centres in Nigeria. It is a large expanse of land that stretches from Nsikak Eduok area to Udo-Udoma Avenue. It was created for recreational purposes and doubles as the cemetery for soldiers and other fallen heroes, hence, every year, the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration is held there.
Unity Park is popularly known as Cenotaph by the locals. It is as big as Millennium Park in Abuja. The park can host over 20 wedding reception at a time. It can also be used for video shoots, photo shoots, birthday parties, picnic, as a relaxation spot and for crusades by churches.
