Igbos are doing everything to ensure the failure of the Buhari regime. They have the right to oppose whatever policy that government comes up with but they should also realise that whatever goes around comes around. If the world bank eventually approves the loan and most of the developmental projects to be undertaken with it are not sited in the SE, they should please not cry of marginalisation.

Re u kidding me?

Same way you encouraged Fayose to go to China to go block the deal?

Achebe can't alter or tilt a transaction between Nigeria and the World bank.

I just hope that when an ibo man becomes president and request for loan, and a northern or other region based group writes this kind of letter, you won't come and tell us they are saboteurs, or they hate you. Remember you started this method, and remember how you always start everything in this country....
let's not be tribalistic in Nigeria. this is a huge loan on the head of the next generation this group is avoiding. Ask the government what happened to the huge amount accrued over the last one year and recovered looted funds.

This one just happen to have written the World bank grin grin grin

A country is dealing with a high institution like World bank and it's outright comedy knowing that some mere Humans have the effrontery to believe that they have a voice to stop or alter such transaction. #Funny

World affair? grin grin grin. You lack that!

What influence has such organization that it can alter, tilt or change such transaction. It's just a waste of photocopier run-time, ink and paper, or probably just a move to seek relevance

May God Bless that group! Buhari want to use indirect means to access oil fund , he will borrow now and the next president will pay back with money earn from crude sales , even if Jonah or Atiku come to power in 2019, they will only come to inherit his debt, beside ,where is the trillions recovered from looters? we are now to pay tax on calls more than 3 mins, he will soon ask us to pay tax for trekking on the road.

If Buhari couldn't prudently use what was left by his predecessor but squandered everything on useless trips; If Buhari can't make use of the trillions of naira in TSA and trillions of recovered loot; how can anyone be convinced now that Buhari will be able to use this loan well

No way! He can't mortgage generations unborn when he's probably gone, never to suffer for it.

We dont need loan again. Use the recovered loot, money made from TSA and develop the country.
The most useless government since the history of humanity.
A man who carried about in his duara body a disease called recession and dysfuntional economy. From 80s to his second missionary journey Nigeria has experienced just the same things from the old man.
Let me c see the idiot that will support this man come 2019.
Buhari must go and stay in duara till he join his ancestors for his own share of virgins.

they did all theses like they were the only ones that knew were they sell biro and paper
Please provide online links or documentary evidence that Buhari or anyone else from the APC wrote the US and told them not to sell arms to Nigeria. If you can't please don't post anything on nairaland again. Bloody liar!
Jonathan used his pastors jet to smuggle cash, raw cash into South Africa. When he was caught he came up with the stupid arms excuse and ignorant people like yourself bought it.

Go and read Achebe's 'Man of the people'. In that book he dissected the problem of Nigeria. Achebe is not all about literature but leadership and development of which the Centre stands for.

Don't joke with Achebe because with his involvement in this matter the loan is now DOA.

This is absolutely false. "Not included" is completely different from "Poorly represented". Stop spreading lies. The SE is the zone with the lease projects. A zone will always receive the least whichever way you calculate it. The money cannot be spreqd equally amongst all the zones. Some need the money more than others. The NE, NW and SS for instance need more money for reconstruction than other zones.

Did you start listening to news today?

1)Did you not read when APC wrote to USA and other countries not to sell weapons to Jonathan administration?

2)Did you not read when APC addressed parliamentarians in UK against Jonathan administration?

3)What did Buhari do with his 2.2 trillion already borrowed by him?

4)Which negative strife did Igbo start? list them...

5) Don't you think you spread more hate and lies than your moniker can stomach?

Obasanjo and Benjamin Adekunle combined with Murtala Muhammed and Gowon to use over 3 million stubborn goats for suya between 1967 and 1970. Wole Soyinka snatched the nobel prize from Chinua Achebe. Tinubu colluded with Buhari ro drive Jonathan away from Aso Rock. All these are causing high bllod pressure for street miscreants from the land of the falling sun.

How much was allocated to the SE after the war? The North destroyed their zone with Boko haram so how am i supposed to pay for their religious war that destroyed their region?

Did you read in the write up that IPOB wrote the letter? nowadays every jack and harry screams Igbos .smh

You are right on point. I am with you on this. Its high time nairaland looks into the issue of underage infiltrating this forum and making some childish contributions all in the name of commenting. We must not segregate in all issues especially on delicate matters like this. This write up is of importance to all of us irrespective of regional belonging. It is pointing to some facts that are of benefits to us all as Nigerians. We should look beyond the author(s) of the letter, rather we should be concerned more about of what benefit is it to us. Greed/ selfishness, tribalism, and religious seggregation are our problems in this country which is creating a great divide among us as a result hampering the progress of our country in unity. Lets try as much to be non-partisans, not selfish, patriotic irrespective of our religious beliefs or regional affiliation to grow our country and also grow ourselves.
