Twisted neck can be treated with Vit E. Isolate the birds in a place with little light and not too far from the pen so they won't feel isolated. Patiently untwist the neck and squirt the Vit E capsule in the mouth, try feed once/twice if bird can't feed itself. should go between 4-20 days, mine took 10 & bird has been okay since.
you can do the lasota vaccination again to be on the safe side tho, but the above is what I did when I experienced such

Experienced same, didn't want any wahala, killed them all cos they're at 12 weeks plus, was susprised people bought dem wella at about 3k each, 43 in nunber,. Kept the remaining 48 that are about 8 weeks for christmas jolly.

But oga noel wat could be d cause of this kinda poo so i can learn from my mistakes if possible.

But before their death what treatment were u given them and like u said did they suddenly die or they withdrew from feed before they died and this poo for how long have u noticed it.

You said you killed them...then you said you sold them. I want to understand. Did you sell them alive for 3k each? Or you killed them, and sold them after dressing them?

How are you doing...how are your birds. Do you know about Vital Feed? I heard a lady talking about it where I went to buy feed yesterday. She said it makes birds grow really fast. Please, anyone else reading this comment that knows about Vital feed can leave a comment. Thanks.

Vital feed is good but that's not the only reason why birds grow big the quantity and quality matters alot
If u given ur birds 50 to 1bag of vital grower in 4 days and am using 50 to 1bag of top finisher in 2 days my result with top will be by far better than ur vital so concentrate on quality and quantity of feed and not name

Okay. Thanks. One more question, can heat wave kill chickens? Ibadan is really hot right now, and my chickens are always gasping for water as the heat wave is terrible. Do you think it can kill them? I am looking for what to put on the roof to make their cage cooler.

Thanks boss for your response, wen i noticed the poo I gave them anti cocci, i lost about 3 very big ones Without any sign, didnt want to take any risk further, i had to slaughter the remaining of dem, and sold as frozen, the 3 i lost were looking very strong, i only observed they were not eating fine of which vitamin was given to dem, but i still lost dem. Lest i forget i noticed the poo for about 2 days.

I use vitalfeed and it's excellent. They only thing I notice is that it's pellets are not as big as topfeed.

Vitalfeed is also cheaper.

Yes it can kill birds
Look for palm fronds and put on the roof top it will help reduce the heat

I could have recommended EST mix for 3 days but next time just take a closer look at the birds it most have given u a sign u missed.
Signs ranges from avoiding food, always staying at a particular side of the brooder, not playing with other birds to mention a few

That's why I encourage people to go into frozen feed it has a regular market u can't satisfy and in the alternative supply market women during off season 10wks old they also pay cash and with high demand

I didnt say its cheapest but its cheaper than topfeed.
Vitalfeed Grower is 2950 naira while topfeed grower is 3400 naira

Check frozen stores and ask of the price they will buy per kg meat.
Most shops will remove the legs, head and the internal parts before weighing the birds.

Before u meet cold room do ur estimate and put a price tag on ur mind
Frozen chicken sellers buy already dressed birds, the buy the gizzard separate from the body and before u meet then know how much they sell to people so this will make have an idea of ur bargain

Aluminium will last more in durability compared to asbestos no doubt but is a better conductor of heat than asbestos period!
