Kenya is asafari country you will never miss... Mombasa beats Nairobi by far in tourism.. The city has a lot of tourist from around the world.

Most of Nigeria's tourist centers are in the North but I no advice anybody go there. Jos, Bauchi and Adamawa are adorn with natural tourism.

The worst part is some towns along the coast such as Diani,Watamu,Shale,Malindi,lamu depends on tourism btwn 90-100% of their livelihood.

Morning guys? Let's visit Lamu island. Its one of the oldest settlement in East Africa established in 1370 , the town has great Arab influence, its also a UNESCO world heritage site. The Town has less than 3vehicles due to narrow streets, the main means of transport are donkeys.

Now we are talking, initially i always wanted to come to Nigeria to get a feel of what we always see in Nollywood movies. Thats the more reason i joined Nairaland, but the negativity i got from Nigerian bloggers and news items in regards to Kenya were not only mean but a pointer to the systematic degradation of Kenya and its people. But now i am starting to let go off the perception that Nigerians are not at all that bad, lets keep posting pictures of our countries please.

Na so! Although, not all Northern part are threatened, place like Jos is safe and it's full of tourist but it has reduced because of religious conflicts.

However, Cross River state which has Calabar as the Capital is number one tourist destination in the southern Nigeria. The state is blessed with Obudu Cattle Range, Afi Mountains, Cross River national park, Agbokim Water falls, water falls, beautiful beaches (about to be develop), water park, Tinapa resort, Museums, etc

They also survive only on tourism.
