Sequel to the ongoing intraparty crisis segregating the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC), another known “political son” to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who had chosen to pitch his tent with President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun, Dr Kayode Fayemi has thrown a stone at his former political godfather, Tinubu over the weekend.
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, who Saturday described the embattled national leader of the party as a leader and hardworking person, however maintained that Tinubu was responsible for his own misfortunes in the party, saying no one can be seeing himself as the indispensable where thousand of intellectuals operate.

According to the former Ekiti State governor, “Asiwaju might have been instrumental to the political breakthrough of some of us, he has the financial muscle, but we equally paid our dues without opportunity of negotiation. We have always been the “Yes Sir” types and we never complained. But we never expected him to think such can continue where development takes place. It is no news that whatever goes around comes around.”

Fayemi urged the supporters of the President Buhari-led administration to remain steadfast and focused. He added that the present economic situation of the country was a result of some injurious pieces of advice given the presidency at the inception of this administration by some people he described as leaders without visions who had wanted to hijack the presidency before God’s intervention.

He assured Nigerians that everything shall soon take formation and the country shall regain her strength again as the giant of Africa, adding that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should not continue tearing the party and the country apart with his “golden silence” which he (Fayemi) said was destructive and well understood.

“Asiwaju’s antics are not new to us. We can never underrate his political calculations and permutations. Yet, we cannot continue worshiping him. He deserves respect that we are giving but should stop making this country and our party ungovernable for our leaders. The steering is always meant for the driver and not in conjunction with the conductor.

“Once a political party is formed and a national leader is appointed or elected, other mini-leaders should be humble enough to respect the decisions of the constituted authority no matter what. Wherever there is no orderliness, there can never be progress, and we call ourselves the Progressives. We must be ready to live out our name as the Progressives.

“What happened in Ondo State during our primary that produced Chief Rotimi Akeredolu against the wishful calculation and permutation of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to impose Hon. Segun Abraham was a complete display of egocentric orientation by Asiwaju. No single man, I repeat, no single individual can override the decision of our political party. No more in APC!

“We have presented Akeredolu and we believe he is winning the governorship election by all means. Ondo people have supported our candidate and with the reactions of the people, he has the victory already. Our second coming to this state will be to inaugurate Chief Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) as the Governor of Ondo State, political anti-party and calculations of some disgruntled elements notwithstanding, because everything, I mean every arrangement is in order,” Kayode Fayemi assured APC supporters.

I don't know what tinubu expects from the FG to satisfy him.
Maybe he should be factored into the 2017 budget for him to be happy.

It's obvious he only supported buhari to safeguard lagos from PDP that would av deployed all resources to capture lagos had Jonathan won and fashola promised better appointments.

Let's also remind him that buharis ways of doing things is different from GEJ hence if he do anyhow, he will see anyhow.

Fayemi 16-0. If Buhari is hedging his bet on Fayemi taking over South west politics as his front man , then Buhari is truly a dullard. Fayose alone will decimate Fayemi and his legions

Tinubu is finished.
HAhahahaaaha
The god of Yoruba land is demystified by his own people. Before I finish now, some disgruntled Afonja zombies will come to defend Fayemi. They will say, ' that's how we roll' 'we don't worship anybody', but in their mind, there is disappointment and gnashing of teeth.

Tinubu had better tone down on his attempt to go rogue, otherwise he will be just as relevant as his fellow drug pusher, Kashamu by 2019, going by present political permutations.

Tinubu is loved and respected, but he should not bite more than he can chew by trying to assume a 'god' status within the APC.

EmeeNaka:

The language used in the fiction is so off it, not close to how Fayemi will express himself in any conversation.
It can't stand any forensic analysis, the writer is of low intellect.

Its sad that some of us are a people with very low IQ who can't string these things together.

That's why people who raped Nigeria will still be parading themselves as our messiah, stroking tribal sentiments along.

So your messianic Buhari knew him as a drug pusher yet solicited his support? Jonathan thought he had all his political permutations right before 2015.

To address you first question, politics is all about safeguarding interests and not morality.

Secondly, the fact is that Tinubus greatest threat today is not even PMB, but the increasingly likely candidacy of Atiku his arch enemy with Obi as running mate and the legion of the latter's kinsmen who are itching for their pound of Jagabans flesh.

I hope this Wsnt said by fayemi bt I don't see nothing wrong with what he has said its just d basic and simple truth but sadly Nigeria is a ridiculous country where one man will collect huge chucks of a states allocation because he sponsored their election It's that normalAnd why shud one man dictate how things are done when this is democracy and we shud be following democratic principles.

I'm shock to to see sound and educated people reason with d mentality of God fathers and cabals in a same state. How can we move forward? There is a difference btw giving wisdom and advice and rubbing a state treasury because of favours owed in broad day light.... Im sorry so say bt if this were USA or china TINUBU cud be in jail going by the law!!!
That why in the us there are regulations to sponsors of elections to avoid such issues. He shud do his part to protect democracy and not rubbing democracy...
