Broken Promises: A Poem On Nigeria by Nobody: 8:27am On Nov 21, 2016 |
Day and night, man shall suffer Money and food, he shall gather Yet I ponder, is there an end to the hunger? Things are getting worse, what's the matter? Promises are made, some can't be kept There shall be a change, who e don epp? Now, there is no food and wealth left In a nation, where order of the day is theft Shall we return to our vomit, who is sure? Can we bring back, glorious days of yore? Or is it too late, to save us? We need our country, full of comfort. In a nation, where ethnicity reigns over nationality Everything has turned unglittery Corruption thrives, who is guilty? In a land, so filthy Everything is a possibility. Culled from, my Book, authored by myself. 2 Likes 1 Share |

If you do not take the time out to arrange your lines, how do we take the time out to appreciate you? Please edit it, it's not like I want to read a prose but a poem. Until then, kudos! |
