EMMAACHILE:

Recommended diet on broiler chicks based on this research below
Starter 0-7 days
Grower 7-42 days
Finisher 43-56 days
This according to research produced a healthier and bigger weight broiler than those fed on starter to finisher diet.
Summary of research for those who may be too lazy to read through.

The optimum duration for feeding starter diet to birds grown to a target weight of approximately 3.3 kg appears to be no more than 7 days.

Inclusion of the finisher diet earlier than 42 days resulted in a reduction in body weight, a deterioration in feed conversion and calorie utilization, an
increase in abdominal fat, and a reduction in breast meat yield.
Given typical cost differences among starter, grower, and finisher diets, the economic impact of changing diets at earlier ages may be considerable.

Formulation of feed to minimise cost depends on so many things like:
Nos of birds reared
Feed ingredients available locally
Technical know how
Machinery available.

It could be 2nd stage of CRD i guess.

Tylodox should work, mix it with antibiotic and vitamin, use ratio 1:1 if it is that severe.

If it doesnt work, quote this post and let me know.

Hello house, please I need your advice. I have been using processed feed since I started my poultry business and I have changed the feed thrice because of scarcity. Now the price of feed has gotten to the extent that I can't afford it anymore. Can I go for milling and what are the advantages and disadvantages? My birds are laying birds. Thank you for your prompt response
